Douehi also is a goal kicker and was one of the better ones coming through

Curly for 2021 think you can add a couple of our developement players who are signed to move up in 2021- Madden, Cini, Bradley, Simpkin and then Hoffman in 2022

To be fair the article on Zero tackle doesen’t even say they think its happening just that they have an idea that would make sense - so its about as useful as any of us deciding a player should go somewhere. Also why would Duoehi who wants to play fullback or five eight go to Storm who have Munster and Papenhuyzen

JAC to Rossters makes some sense. They have lost Cronk and Mitchell and replaced with nsw cup players so would have money available. Also already have Morris, Tupou, Hall to swap from a wing point of view

Think he can prob handle the full 80 but id think you will see Walters or Reynolds with 20 mins off the bench and then backing up for injuries in halves or a roving lock role if needed off the bench. Other option is obviously ET to be back up and to play a split role with benji for 20 mins

I said at the start of the offseason Mbye was fav for hooker so doesent surprise me a bit - right choice and ads to our need for outside backs. Personally think we will see 2 or more outside backs by kick off - a centre, a fullback and a winger

Quote: AJ has a big offer from the Tigers in hand. He has until Friday to accept. Not sure of his intentions or desires, however he would be absolutely crazy not to take it in my opinion.

FWIW

Pascoe said there will be nothing this week

Sooo

To be fair if he accepts the offer by Friday prob still take a day or 2 to get to announce stage

How does the top 30 work?
I was under the impression that at some stage it was the top 30 highest paid players.
If you sign a 31st player does the lowest paid then drop out and just become a CC contract player?
Can someone clarify the situation.

No - NRL contracts are different and you can only have 30 signed at any point in time

CT as some other have said is full of effort but he is no where near AJ at fullback or wing.

People keep asking how souths have enough cap space but it doesent seem that surprising to me. At the start if last year they had Greg Inglis, Sam Burgess, George Burgess all on great money who are all gone and the only top class replacement has been a problem child James Roberts - should have plenty of cap space left
