@tony-soprano don’t know a lot about him as a coach to be honest. Played a few games for Wests in the late 90s. Coached Norths CC in 2018 and was replaced by the scarecrow and now Souths CC this year and they are still in the finals.
Just stated on CC coverage that Millard is coming.
North Queensland Cowboys eyeing off Wests Tigers and Kiwi star Esan Marsters

This is no surprise to hear … this outcome may be on the money.
Freakish? Kinda weird looking but freak is a bit harsh.
Is it just me and my tin foil or does anyone else see room for conflict of interest given that both Matterson and Holbrook have the same management and Matterson still has two years to run on his contract?
Not sure it is a conflict when bringing them together but a huge one when they fall out of love a la Hayne and one of them has to go.
@ElleryHanley agreed, we seriously need more muscle, size and impact up front!
Definitely mate. It is no surprise our back rowers are burnt out / keep breaking down / go right off the ball (like ET for 18 months)
They are constantly taking hit ups into a set line with beasts waiting for them. Honestly, taking it up after EISENHUTH…v taking it up after TAPAU…just consider the difference physically.
Eisenhuth couldn’t bend the morning pill line at a nursing home.
Tristan Sailor and COrey Oates r both off contract…not sure about oates but YES to sailor…
also with the mergin with bulldogs thing…
if it WERE to happen… how would it work?
Sailor won’t happen. His dad is negative about anything Tigers on the radio. Says we should relocate, says we are the worst run club.
They were talking about Jason Taylor one day and he was liked by everyone in the commentary team but Wendall. They asked why don’t you like JT. His reply was " no reason"
The guy hasn’t got one original thought.
I don’t really care what convicted drug cheating maggot thinks about our club
Sailor and John’s can snort each other’s crack.
@pawsandclaws1 Moylan is a class player … obviously atm he is not in a good place , in saying that these things change that’s life. Saying the club could do better well I would rate him at his best above anything this club has atm from 7 to 1 . Whether he wants to come good is the question these things do happen. He would come with a stipend from the Sharks so you would think to take a chance .
Stipend or no stipend he is still a bellend.
Regarding the continuing training - I agree it’s probably over the top but these blokes just have to suck it up. The mentality of some young elite athletes drives me nuts. I love listening to stories of blokes who went the extra yards. Recently listened to Matty Johns talking about him and Joey spending more time doing extras than in training. Craig Johnstone hitting 10000 balls a day. Brett Finch saying how he was better prepared than anyone because his natural talent was low. Great stuff. WE HAVE A COACH MADE OF THIS STUFF. If he says train - then friggen we’ll train because if you do you might actually win some games and stop disappointing thousands of loyal fans!!!
Ricky Stuart overtrained Canberra and they burnt out every year.
He let them have more time off this time and they are top4.
This is not 1963. More training / summer heat does not equal success.
We should look at NFL and how they do it.
More time off? This club is on holiday every year second week of September for eight years. Anymore time off and they might as well go on the dole.
They will only go on the dole if its upgraded.
A few of them would be on the DSP.
