If LM doesn’t come and he’s fit he has to play fullback.
I imagine it was only because he was playing injured that they moved him in the first place.
If LM does come then he stays at centre.

I thought being replaced at fullback was because they signed the premier fullback in the competition… could be wrong .

Don’t think so Snake.
Replaced by Corey Thompson.😂

He’s the only player we have good enough for SOO and you want to get rid of him instead of some other blokes?

It says to me that he has friends at Souths who he wants desperately to play with…
It says that WTs made him a very good offer but he wants to be with his mates…
WTs proved that they were genuine and honest in their dealings with LM,however he wants to play with indigenous players first and foremost…

If LM said 'I don’t want to play at WTs because they don’t suit me’then that would be an entirely different discussion…

Even if it costs one of the brothers a spot in souths’ top 30 - a club that they presumably love too? I can’t understand. All along he’s been saying he needs to take care of his family - the reason for his initial release was to ‘test the market and see his worth’ this is not it. He has a young family to think of, three kids at 22, taking a gamble on a cut-rate price is dumb knowing damn well you can get injured.

Do you really believe he would be taking a gamble? Are we that naive to believe this suggestion?

Huge gamble if he signs a contract of $400k for one year and gets badly injured.
Then he’s all on his lonesome.

In my opinion there is far to much condemnation of our recruiting staff and coach so far this off season…we must consider all the calamity that we have endured in the last few years to take into perspective where we are now,all the shouting about not signing top marquee players is a bit over the top when we have to sort the fundamental mistakes others have made,Reynolds,Matalino,Matto for eg,big money contracts, most of the time spent on the sidelines or left for greener pastures, the RF affair etc…
Maybe if we stop and think for a minute that the staff are constantly trying to do the right thing by the rules and what money they have but not to make the same mistake as others have previously. No mean feat since there was a huge mess to cleanup.
Im not worrying to much atm because Iam relying on the core people within the club to finally make the right decisions in regards to players and funds available.

Funds is not the problem not making finals for 8 straight years is ,even if some on this forum keep shooting me down.If LM signs for south’s for 400k as reported what does that say about the west’s tigers

It would mean he wanted to go and play with all his Aboriginal mates.

Latrell is taking a massive risk if he signs a one year deal on low money.
What happens if he were to get a serious injury next year?
Wave goodbye to the money you wanted to set up your family … and all the other hangers on surrounding you.

I just wish the US would stop invading other people’s countries

Thats fair enough, but the airstrike on Soleimani was in Iraq not Iran and the US are there at the invitation of the Iraqi government to help quell Iranian backed militia.

Happy New Year All! From the horrible oppressive terrorist country of iran!

No one is saying the Iranian people are to blame… its their government.
If you’re there you must see a lot of anti hardline fundamentalist sentiment.
I’ve got Iranian friends who have been praying for Trump to get rid of the current government since he was elected.

America just assassinated Iran’s military commander in an airstrike.

This is crazy stuff, a major war is now coming for sure, there’s no way Iran will not respond.

I love that about Trump not being able to negotiate🤣
Maybe he could do an Obama and negotiate to give Iran hundreds of millions of dollars every year to spend on funding terrorism.

The USA backed ISIS, Al Nusra & Al Qaeda in Iraq & Syria to topple the democratically elected regime of Al Bashir. Theres a Sunni, Shi’a, Israel, America, gas & oil war going on outside…not looking good to be fair

So, when you say the USA you are saying Obama?

So far, the last few days, no one whose pro-Trump has dared address anything that’s too hard to answer. Mainly, Trump’s actions regarding the Central Park Five after they were exonerated through DNA and why he would tell elected members of government who were born in the US to go back to their own countries. No one has wanted to touch those questions. Rather, it’s safer to question the one asking the questions. I’m hoping someone is brave enough to answer the rambling question, but one has already tried to distract from the question. Too hard to answer for him I guess.

Here’s Trump’s actual words when asked about the Central Park Five - 30 years after his original remarks when they confessed
“You have people on both sides of that. They admitted their guilt. If you look at Linda Fairstein and if you look at some of the prosecutors, they think that the city should never have settled that case. So we’ll leave it at that.”
Gee …
As for the loud mouth lefty Senators he told to go home to offer their assistance there… yes, only one was born outside America.
He was obviously referring to their heritage…
“Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how it is done.”
As for his ‘ramblings’… so what?
You get what you see rather than someone hiding their true self away.

Obviously? So for the last few days, i’ve been mocked by several pro-Trumpers for reading too much into what he says, looking for stuff that isn’t there because he didn’t come flatly out and say what I accused him of. But now, cos it suits you, it’s ok to assume what he meant when he actually didn’t say what you want to imply. He never said anything about heritage. So why are you all of a sudden doing what i’ve been accused of?

Why are you lumping me in with everybody else?
I said ‘obviously’ because it is bloody obvious.
Your big problem is thinking that everybody who supports Trump also supports every little thing he says or does.
That would be as silly as disregarding anything good he does just because you don’t like him.
Wouldn’t it?
