I just cant understand where our $$ have gone…we only ever buy ISP players or reserves for 1st grade…and the only one worth keeping(Drinkwater)we let go…even Farah and Benji were playing ISP when we picked them up…
…we shld be able to afford virtually any player that comes onto the market if we need them. And given we now have close to the weakest roster in the NRL…WE need them!
… only one space left…maybe we throw a $mill at Cameron Smith(only kidding!)

I have to call in to question the medical and physical checks done on players before they sign, and before they actually start at the club. If McQueen was injured after he signed with WT but was injured with the Titans in his final time there, why the hell didn’t we back out of the contract citing injury. Maybe there needs to be some form of insurance that the leagues clubs contribute to for only these circumstances. Not unnaturally he doesn’t want to medically retire but sheez he has never really been able to recover previous form and WT are lumped with an incoming player badly injured whilst with another club.

Which now that he has “recovered” but not willing to face a Medical retirement. We should throw him into first grade and make him take the hard hitups.

He either performs as a 400K player or he retires. If he refuses to go on the field, then he is target practise for Twal and Huth.

Someone in our medical dept didn’t do their homework on McQueen…was injured 2017 and unfortunately deteriorated…but we shld have picked that up despite being in our somewhat desperate state after the big 3 left.
He shld have retired, but found WT cheque book
As for Sean Johnstone…too small for a 6…only relevant if Brooks gets too greedy.Theres not a lot between them, tho Id rather have the Kiwi at same $$as hes very impressive on his day(which are about as infrequent as brooks)
…and please…no more reserves/ISPs…we must have a truckload of cash…buy a quality centre!

Shaun.

Pffttt people who cant spell players names.

Think we all know whom im talking about…and the sentiment and message is more important than how someone spells their name to most people with an education…?

Huge distraction WITHOUT the pending US court case….I wouldn’t take him if he was free!
Madge way too smart to bring him on board

Totally concur Willow.
Apart from his contractual obligations for 2019,I doubt very much whether Bennet wld risk his reputation at WTs.
TBH,he hasn’t done such a great job at the Broncos given the talent and resources hes had available over the years, and its unlikely he wld match Clearys achievements.which wld leave his legacy of the coach he really is…average, with good mentoring skills and a media mystery
McGuire on the other hand isn’t really in a position to choose if he misses the Broncos gig(which Seibold probably has sewn up)…Souths wont have him back,so what next…?

A real opportunity for Pascoe to demonstrate his skills IMO.I rate all 3 coaches about the same, and a step ahead of anyone else available
Clearys situation is considerably less than ideal, but its certainly not untenable for him to coach WTs for one more year in 2019 whilst we wait for Bennet…our situation is identical to the Broncos actually with a dead man walking coach.
…and if McGuire is too demanding,he mite find all ships have sailed without him…

Apart from the habit of stealing the cream of juniors from other clubs,I thought their treatment of long term junior, then current SOO player, and co-captain Pearce was despicable…for a probable one off shot at a premiership by buying a 34yo…injury they deserved tbh
What sort of “Club” and "culture"are they…just a total business IMO
I hope it backfires and they get beaten by plenty

Think Rona will definitely be on the market sooner rather than later.Cheika has boxed him in as a Super Rugby player…no more and no less…with a long line of injured players well in front of him…and he really didn’t take the opportunities when they were presented.
so barring a miracle(and a bunch more injuries…or fighting with the spectators!) hes unlikely to wear the Wallaby jersey again
No point in sticking around any longer in Rugby IMO
Having said that,Rona had a very average year for the Waratahs, but hes certainly way ahead of anything we have in the centres excepting Marsters…and we are very desperate now Kevs gone(we may have been so when he was here!)
