Benji is the backup 6 or 7. Last year he subbed for Reynolds pretty much the whole year, but was much more a second halfback than a running 5/8th. Benji did a lot of first reciever and kicking work his side of the ruck, so for him to take over as the primary half won’t be a stretch if it’s required.

I think Momirovski is THE centre - never mind back row.

Chee Kam needs to go - do not need idiots, Sponsors and idiots do not mix well.

If Momiroveki reolaced Masters, Masters would go well in Chee Kam’s position, because he can play backs or forwards, and is legitimately hard to tackle. Does leave us looking for a new goalkicker.

Would you have Momirovski replace Fonua?

Gotta love the versatile back rower description… more like a good bench warmer. Plodder of the highest order.

Chee Kam plays a number of positions well enough that the defensive line doesn’t fall apart if you have to make an unscheduled substitution. Every team needs a back rower who can defend in the centres without letting three tries in.

Cast your mind back to games where Tedesco went off, Nofa went to fullback, Naiquama shifted to the wing and Kyle Lovett had to try and defend at centre. That’s how you let in 3 quick tries and that’s why we need Chee Kam on the bench as a get out of jail card.

I’m hoping Paul Momirovski can take over as the spare centre and play some back row off the bench.

Is there a members discount on their product? I’m terrible with meal prep.

Not sure what I make of this team tbh. I believe it’s our strongest… but it’s simply not all that strong at all

Right edge of Reynolds, Matterson, Momo and Thompson looks alright.

That’s if and when Reynolds plays.

Ivan needs to leave and take Packerlino, ET and McQueen with him.

Benji and Farah need to retire.

Fonua needs to go somewhere/anywhere else.

Reynolds needs a full body replacement and about a years soak in some new age gurus miracle healing hot spring.

Eiso needs serious anti plodding training.

Garlic sauce needs maybe to find another career because maybe Rugby League isn’t his thing.

Ditto for Liddle. (Waiting for the Liddle fans to roast me)
I like the kid but from day one I’ve had ??? over whether he’s got what it takes, it’s just not happening for him, but I really hope it does.

And Nofo, well what do you say about Nofo?
I love him, when he’s good he’s my favorite player but…… Is he ever going to fix his defensive errors?

Over rated veterans getting in the way and failing to control a game

Neither Farah nor Marshall were our first choice in their positions. They’ve both exceeded expectations as backups.

Assuming you are talking about Paul Crawley, the journo?

He’s a massive drip. Every time I see him on NRL360 I think of Gil from the SImpsons.

Oh wow, you’re absolutely right and I can’t unsee it now. He is Gil.

According to Benji http://bit.ly/W18Rd22BM

It’ll be a standard presser, which every club’s obliged to do before a game.

I thought Benji handled that well. The three questions they kept trying to slide in were: are you retiring?; is Ivan leaving? And are the Tigers signing Nathan Cleary?

Benji kept it good humoured and kept steering it back to the Tigers trying to beat Canberra and make the finals.

The thing about the Tigers defence is it’s not particularly good, the boys just work harder than anyone else so that missed tackles are well covered. They scramble well for each other.

What Canberra do isn’t specially clever, but they have big units in the backrow and centres who hit the line hard and fast. That exposes any individual weaknesses, gaps or numerical advantage on the edges.

I’m looking at our team sheet and thinking Garner, Chee-Kam, Naiquama and Masters are going to have their work cut out. We’re really going to miss Lawrence.

Benji, Brooks and Taylor will be key to reading what’s happening and slotting themselves in so our edge defenders don’t get left hanging.
