Yeah, honestly. I don’t mind a few country songs, I connect with blues more to be honest. But to say a certain genre of music you don’t enjoy or identify with is not music because you don’t like it is pure ignorance.

Dude, read it again. It was a joke. I though it was a pretty obvious one…
I listen to everything from Mozart to Coal Chamber. And most everything in between. But i always come back to country because its songs about real life man.
Compare how many times you’ve driven down a dirt road to how many times you’ve rolled in a Bentley with a woman of ill repute!!!

Was fortunate enough to hear a Quartet play Mozart at Stiftskeller in Salzburg. I highly recommend it if have the means to get there.

Cory is vastly underrated by many. He is faster and more elusive than he is given credit for. His defence is also solid. I am happy to have him as fullback and I don’t think it detracts from the team one bit, he adds far more to the team than others being suggested.

Hes also a midget and suspect under the highball.
His small frame is almost always outmuscled.

He is a great runner, fast and he seems to slide through the opposition on a break… probably cos hes so small.

His great running is balanced by his inability or reluctance to pass. No ball playing. Decent defender but because of his physical attributes this doesn’t always translate in game time.

Great depth player.
Much like Utai, Brown, MWZ.
But simply isnt a FG fullback or winger.

And for the people saying we should trial him at hooker or lock… this is as laughable as cktiger saying he outdrinks 20 yr olds and then takes their girls home.

Outmuscled? He doubles Doueihi’s tackle breaks and quintuples his linebreaks at fullback. If he was outmuscled.hed get brought down.

We haven’t effectively use our celebrities. Souths have Crowe, we should have used Blue Wiggle

Yeah because doing the Hot Potato with Anthony Field is heaps better than dining with Rusty at Nana Glen.

Amazing. The club are idiots are for throwing big money at a representative 23 year old dual premiership winner, but are also idiots for not throwing big money at a 30 game rookie who can’t score tries at fullback.

Agree with @Jirskyr I saw much the same. Especially when Dessie told him he would not be resigned he started playing out of his skin. Could do worse.

if indigenous players have an affinity to souths hopefully the lebanese players have an affinity to the tigers!

Thats what im sayin…

We are gonna be the club the bulldogs wish they could be.

Thanks Robbie Farah.

Douhei can link with cedar team mate Alex Twal.
Its great.

I reckon we should sign Kayne Kalache from the bulldogs asap too, he’d come cheap.
He isnt in their top 30.

We should build from this and make it known.

Hard to take you seriously with your bias. And since this is about the 100th time you’ve suggested this…

There’s absolutely no need for Kayne Kalche AND he isn’t in the Dogs top 30 because he’ll never see first grade.

Kalache has a big future…
Hes a bit like Twal player wise.

What bias? I support the cedars as much as i support the tigers and know talent when i see it.

Dont be sad.

And all from the guy who wanted us to sign Lichaa.

I think the best way to go about recruitment is to sign the best players you can get when needed.

Who cares where their heritage is from.

Lichaa is better than any hooker we have ready to go right now.

Naive souls.

Lets all enjoy Mbye #9 this year.
Yay.

Every chance that’ll be the only position for Mbye to play. Momo/Talau and hopefully BJ will be fighting to play centre. AD and Thompson fighting for the #1.

Jesus Ponyo that stuff isn’t even music🤢

Mate, i play in a country rock band and frequently have people pull faces at me when i say that forbidden “country” word.
Then after hearing the stuff we play they generally change their tune pretty quick.
I always say thre are two things in this world that really grind my gears.

  1. People who claim to “hate” entire genres of music (but then usally list two or three artists from said genre that they like)
  2. People who claim that Rap is music…

Crawly pulling numbers out his butt (no swearing coverup willow) again.

He also makes a lot of editorial commentary for a reporter.

“Tigers can ill-afford”
“Tigers are trying to sell it publicly”
“given some of the dud deals they have done in recent years”

The thing I intensely dislike about the idea of “dud deals” is many teams have done many done deals over the years, it’s not restricted to Tigers.

And Tigers have a few blokes on the books who may have had an entirely different role / output had the coach stayed; i.e. it’s the coach’s movement that impacts many careers. This would be true of many clubs who move the coach on.

There are a few journos right now running the critical line that “Tigers need to sign someone before the season starts”, whilst also acknowledging that the rush to sign players may have been a factor for the last coach.

Tigers don’t actually have to do anything at all and I’m pleased that they aren’t reacting to the media, that’s one thing I like about Madge - you can write what you like, but Madge is his own man on his own schedule.

Finally - if you had said in October that our pre-season would be a swap BJ in and Esan out, I would have been cool with that. Latrell wasn’t even on the radar at the time, and BJ is a much more cost-effective option in centres - you can sign BJ and another NRL-level player for Latrell’s wage alone.

We’re not the only club limited to dud deals.

Jack Bird, Anthony Milford, Darius Boyd, Ben Hunt and Corey Norman are just a few names off the top of my head that are on good coin and aren’t returning on the reported investment.

Keiren Foran …

Yeah the Dogs got themselves in a hole with a few. Hopoate, Woods, Foran.

Trying to be reasonable in this assessment, I think Corey has 3 issues at fullback.

No real passing game
One basic error in most games
The odd game that is a shocker

I think you can live with one of these issues and do well, but not all three.

I think passing is the only upgrade with AD

I agree though I think AD has a few upgrades on CT, just that they are not huge upgrades.

I think AD has more of a halves-type skillset for a fullback (passing and kicks), which is ideal, and he’s rangy enough to be effective in the air.

Corey is ultimately too short, which is one of his two weaknesses as a FB - Corey is 5’10" and AD is almost 6’3". Short and doesn’t have a pass/kick option, like you said, which makes it easier for opposition defences.

AD however is pretty weak in the tackle - Corey has double the tackle breaks and is just more energetic in the tackle IMO. AD has ever slightly better post-contact m and that might be attributed to his bigger overall size. Corey is only giving up 3 kg despite the height difference.

The arguably greatest fullback of the modern era was 5’10".
