Speaking of being bitter and bagging Balmain Boy, your quote below kicking a kid who yes made a few errors:
“OH and don’t know why Mason was taking our restarts but his kick offs were also terrible. They all only went 30m, letting the broncs catch it on their 20m line and get to the 30 on tackle 1! Madness to sacrifice so much territory so needlessly!”
Mason had 4 kick offs, 1st tackles were made on the 19m, 15m, 20m and 23m, Levido took over the kick offs from there on so WTF are you on about. Check the Video.
Yes Mason didn’t play well, 1st error he dropped the ball returning a kick but got to the ball in plenty of time and his positioning was OK, the “TEAM” didn’t recover well and poor defense on the line allowed that try. The 2nd Mason error was on the back of a kick which deflected off the head of a Tigers player and ended up going in the opposite direction to where he was heading, maybe could have dived on the ball but the attackers arrived at almost the same time the ball was also dropped by another Tigers player. his 3rd error was a wicked bounce which went into the opposite direction of travel. It is one of Mason’s worse games but luck didn’t help at all.
They all missed tackles if you are counting them as his 5th, 6th and 7th errors.
I don’t mind criticism but exaggerating stuff like you have shows what kind of a supporter you are.
Mason missed last year with a knee reco. There have been a number of “strange” decisions regarding selctions and his place in the team from the beggining of the year all the way through which has affected his confidence. The pressure to keep his spot in the team has played on him and definately changed the way he plays the game.
One of his strengths through the years has been his consistency and very few errors, his last season before this year was SG Ball and he had a great year.
He does have plenty of ability but this season has been one to forget from start to finish, hopefully he can find himself next year and shows everyone what he is capable of.
From the Balmain side of things we did win the SG Ball in 2013, young Sirro, Junior Tatola and Pifeleti Pifeleti lead the way there. We also have plenty who can back up in 20’s next year.
Tom Sattersthwaite (7 tries in 6 games) who in my opinion should be in the 20’s team currently also qualifies for 20’s again. add to this a few from the Wests side of things and we will have a pretty competitive 20’s team yet again.
We play the loser of the Bronco’s and Parra and if successful next week play Saints to get into the GF.
Moses was booked in for an Op on his groin this week sometime, I doubt that they would delay it but you never know, hopefully Cherrington will be back next week. There looked to be a couple of injuries out of this game namely Marshall and Hoeter although Hoeter did finish the game.
I reckon we will be playing the Broncs next week and we beat them pretty easily through the season so hoping for a repeat performance.
Levido only came into the side when Moses moved up a grade. Levido still hasn’t really nailed a spot down with his erratic performances. And this team desperately needs a goal kicker.
If Moses was to replace Levido, with Levido replacing Alofi on the bench (why is a fullback who’s been injured for 5 months named to make a comeback off the bench in a finals game anyway??) then so be it. If Levido is pissed at his demotion, that’s fair enough but its for the good of the team.
Same goes with Marshall if Cherrington is fit, Marshall drops out or fights with Levido for the becnn spot. (goodbye levido)
Levido is playing from what I hear, so its someone else who will be pushed out if Moses plays.
I think it’s fair enough that Moses and brooks can’t play . Imagine being in the team ,(you’ve made the finals) and then you get told you won’t be playing in the semis because brooks and Moses are coming back into the team … I’d be pissed !!!

Someone is “pissed”.
Eto would actually be a good signing. I see him as the type of winger we lack. Tall, fast, strong, good vertical jump. Won’t get bullied.
Umm he is 5’6 170cm.
Don’t know where your stats come from but Eto Nabuli is 197cm (6 ft 5) and 103kgs.
If we have signed Kevin Naiqama I reckon it’s a fairly decent signing, as has been said before he would run rings around Lulia and is a fairly solid player.
Apologies they are Naiqama’s stats.
I thought Levido, Farrell and Kazzi were 3 of the teams best on the weekend.
Kazzi is one of the few who hits hard in defence and is a worker (every team needs one) and this while playing with a wrist fracture and has a few injury set backs through out the season. He can cover hooker and 2nd row as well and has also kicked goals in the juniors.
The Keebra boys are still looking for each other and need to get Farrell injected into the game more as he is the decoy on most plays but looks good when he gest the ball with some space. I would like to see him in the centres, wing or at 5/8 at some stage as he has a good passing game, he was the goal kicker in the SG Grand Final kicking 7 out of 8 most from the sideline and kicked 5/6 in the National game. He missed last season due to an ACL and is getting back to his best after playing on this season with shoulder/ankle and groin injuries.
Levido I think is still finding his way but is solid in both attack and defence and is on the improve and I would like to see him run the ball more his goal kicking hasn’t been great but there are other options in the team.
We didn’t really get to see much of Seve unfortunately but it would have been great to still have them both in the centres with Tohi and Heleta on the wings. I don’t think I could choose between the 2 of them to be honest but Milone is the more consistent performer.
How does Marshall go at full back. I haven’t seen him play that much… is he any good?
Was about to ask the same question , last time I watched him play was last season
Must be going OK to be keeping Farrell out
Then again I get the distinct feeling that Webster’s not Farrell’s biggest fan either
I would like to see Farrell play another position to see how he goes, I haven’t been impressed by anyone else in the backline apart from Tohi and Heleta in recent weeks. I would also like to see Marshall get an opportunity at 6 or 7 which are his preferred positions, our kicking game and creativity has been well below par.
The team will look to record their eighth consecutive victory this weekend against the Sea Eagles — a feat that would break the record for the longest winning streak by a Wests Tigers NYC team — and Webster said that while it was nice to dwell on such a note, it was important to not get carried away with records at the expense of playing good football.
Great effort for 7 in a row, consistency isn’t easy to maintain at this level. Hopefully they can get themselves to the top of the ladder in a few weeks with both Newcastle and Brisbane having a few challenging games coming up before they play each other in round 24
