I agree. He was really busy and seemed above ISP standard. I really hope he goes good, cos the desire was there yesterday. I worry it might take more than desire

Didn’t seem that way. Wests were in control for entire 4 quarters. My standouts were Liddle, Mikalele, Talua and Bradley on the wings, Mcqueen tried hard. Liddle probably the standout. Farah, Twal, Nofa, Marsters and Chee Sam in the stands.

He was fast too. We didn’t have very creative centres in Fonua and McIntyre but outside Masters he’d go well. Defended well. Both the wingers were big and fast.

I saw the game. I’m not an expert but he did have a real ‘go’. The desire is obviously still there, and he seems a smart player ( he did a lot of stuff off the ball as well as some spirited runs), but I wouldn’t say he ‘fired’. He played 60 minutes of the 80. And while he had a fair few runs he got dominated physically a few times. But it was a trial

Anyone started house of cards season 6?

I watched the first ep, but it was pretty dull, sad to say (as I am a fan of the show). Just watched the latest Narcos: Mexico, which I really enjoyed.

I started HOC also and didnt get though the first Ep as well. They didnt handle the Spacey change departure well at all,

I will get to it eventually.

Narcos S1 was OK

Yeah I liked Narcos:Mexico a lot more than the Narcos S1. it’s less overtly about the glitz of sex and drugs, but more about the drugs dealers gained power, and the extent of the corruption in Mexico and how government and drug dealers worked hand in hand. I find it fascinating.

Fifth and Last is the best one for Rugby league, in my opinion. Cocaine and Rhinestones is a pretty quirky, but incredible history of country music and Swindled is a US one I like about famous frauds and ripoffs corporate and indiviual.

He’s the only shining light from these events.

A true gentleman and a respectable human being.

Unlike that dispicable polluted toad Phil Gould…

Well done to Mr Pascoe. Your work is appreciated.

Well said.

I’ll be surprised if we get close to Canberra on Sunday to be perfectly honest. We just don’t match up well against them. They have us for size and power in the forwards and they have us covered for speed out wide. We’ll need to be “on” to beat them and they’ll need to have an off arvo.

Sad to say I think you may be right on this one, especially with the distractions of the Ivan Cleary coaching Penrith circus going on. I think we can scramble well against structured teams but not so well against off the cup teams like Raiders, Penrith and Warriors (all pretty big losses this year). At least we won’t make Jarrod Croker look like Mark Gasnier this time
