What’s the go here?
James Stosic??
Who would have ever honestly had him on a wish list??

Back years on this forum, people have criticised WT forum for signing nuffies.
And now the word goes out…. would we sign him…etc etc

Sure, let’s strengthen our roster, for sure
But the bottom line is strengthen and balance.

😆 Ease up T_1…its a public forum …no different to throwing up big Willie…

It’s to get peoples opinions you obviously feel Stosic a waste of space …fine…

Thought he showed promise when he was at the Sharkies…Meh… no biggy…I’ll go with you…

stenghten and balance… 💡 …I’d swap Daniella and Fitzhenry for another PROP…

A Prop……on the Market…

Monday 30 Nov 2009 22:07 Source: > http://www.wakefieldwildcats.co.uk> " onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have released prop James Stosic midway through a two-year contract due to overseas player restrictions.

The Wildcats had hoped New Zealand-born Stosic would become exempt from the overseas quota by acquiring a Macedonian passport before next season.

The club say they signed the former Gold Coast and Cronulla player last year on the understanding he could secure a European passport.

Stosic, who is of Macedonian descent, has been unable to do so and Wakefield have chosen to terminate his deal.

The signings of Daryl Millard, Ben Jeffries, Glenn Morrison and Shane Tronc for next season mean the Wildcats have no room in their squad for any more overseas players.

Coach John Kear said: “We’d like to thank James for his hard work on behalf of Wakefield Trinity Wildcats and wish him well for the remainder of his career.”

Thoughts?..could be a cheap pick up…

@magpie mania:

I think Sheens will have Taumata in the 7 jersey but i would much rather Moltzon

I think this ones a double edged sword moltzen may provide a better combo with marshall but then we lose his effectiveness at fullback so maybe taumata is the answer.

couldnt agree more! until we find a decent fullback moltzen wont have many starts in the halves.

Better tell Moltzen that….hear he’s got his heart set on the 7…

Reckon he should get 1st crack…

Is on again….

Wests Tigers v Penrith
Round 12, 2001

The Tigers were coming off a four-match losing streak, smarting from a last-start 66-12 loss to Parramatta. Eventual wooden-spooners Penrith were just searching for consistency and were boosted by the return of playmaker Craig Gower. Despite the sides’ lowly placings, expectations for this clash were high after their meeting 12 months earlier had produced one of the biggest turnarounds the game had seen. Could the Tigers get up off the canvas or would Penrith record a rare win?

Eels v Sharks, R2 2001 - 33.53% (164 votes)
Storm v Roosters, R10 2001 - 35.17% (172 votes)
Tigers v Panthers, R12 2001 - 31.28% (153 votes)

Early Days…the great Trent Runciman off the bench… 😕
