The 2015 Heritage jersey looks good. That should be the alternate jersey if not the main jersey.

The only saving grace is that he didn’t go to the roosters or dogs. He will still play with Brooks …for NSW in the coming years!.It was great seeing his attacking play but hard watching him hoping he would get up ok every time he was tackled, went through that with Benji in the early years remember. Rowe is solid but has no where near the skill and attack of Tedesco and we will miss him. I do feel he is injury prone though, at least he will have plenty of ice down in Canberra!!

Anasta is still finding his way in the team. I noticed at the game a couple of times he wanted the ball in attacking positions and the ball went to Robbie. He naturally likes to run some plays but at the moment he looks lost. We have Robbie and Benji calling the shots and now Miller getting more involved in setting up plays. He is a great back up for the halves and during origin when Farah is first player picked. At the moment though he needs to play like a genuine 2nd rower and run some plays from broken play when the ball comes his way.

You sack Sheens and we will be in a rebuilding phase for 2 or 3 years with absolutely no guarantee of success at the end of it and we could be struggling for years. Sheens still attracts the players who want to play under him. Especially now with an increased cap to come we can still attract these players. My only gripe with Sheens is letting Gibbs go for whatever reason. Gibbs was tiger through and through and the workhorse we missed this year. We do need more depth in key areas but the players and coach now have motivation for next year. We can turn it around immediately . Tedesco , Sironen, Korobete, Woods and other juniors need a mentor like Sheens to guide them. Combine them with Lawrence, Benji and Farah ,and hopefully Blair sorts himself out, we can be lethal again.
Add Anasta to the mix, though we still need a Gibbs type player and a replacement for Ellis. Another top class centre is probably needed as Ayshford has been disappointing this year.
If we do sack Sheens he must be replaced with a Bennet, Gould, Bellamy type of coach otherwise there will be lean years ahead.
What does need a rebuild is the referees ranks! and their coach!
Also an injury free run would be nice for a change!

I think 2nd to 5th or even 6th is going to be tight and for and against could well decide key finishing spots. We have to get the 05 killer instinct back and go on and thrash teams and play for 80minutes…last week was the start!

Round 1 2005 Parra 28 Tigers 12…my 7 year old son was crying at the end of the game as Parra fans were being typical parra fans…I said to him something like don’t worry son we will win some games this year…took him to our next game where we were thrashing the dogs only to see them come back but then Prince kicked that field goal to win 37-36 and there were no tears… the only tears after that came GF day and they were tears of joy from Dad and tears of relief from following the tigers since 74 and final healing for 89!
