Aj is just an average player who would join our club coz his club doesnt want him and we are probably the only option. I’d love to get a star player but it feels like it won’t happen. Eep.

Can I remind you that the Roosters don’t want LM either or does that negate your argument

You could say the same about AJ, but I won’t

So much crap talk at the moment on the forum, in short, you can only buy what’s available. Just remember that buying a champion player does not make you a champion team.

As being the laughing stock of the NRL ppffttt I don’t buy that at all. I would suggest that most opposition supporters would say that the Tigers are their second fav team, maybe they just like underdogs.I can take that as a compliment.

Anyway, its only a game a far worse things are happening at present in Australia and the world. Fires, unemployment, drought, climate change, Trump etc. Just enjoy the game and the club for what it is and enjoy our wins and drown our losses…

If Justin’s answer in the Q&A was anything to go by the signing looks very unlikely. No contact since contract was pulled and they are looking for players who want to be here…

Funny thing is, they also mentioned a potential signing is lined up for this week.

that’s JAC

LOL… ok so you went from JAC is a long way from signing with us to JAC is signing this week.

That’s who they are hoping to get done ASAP

I’ll tell you wants Gonna happen very soon. ARROW will be released to Souths. That deal is done, JAC will get his release and come back to tigers. LM will sign on. I’m checking out. You guys are too much.

In other words, you feel like you’ve been caught out yet again with bogus info, and now you’re high tailing it…Again.

I want a 3 paragraph apology From you when I’m Proven right AGAIN.

If you are right I will buy you a few beers

He has the body shape of a lock from rugby.

You reckon, no where near big enough for mine.

Locks in rugby are normally about 6’ 6" as a minimum and 20kg heavier than Brad

What about changes to Golden Point - still the biggest blight on the game, and what about the interchange rules!

They don’t listen to what people want, 20/40, scrum change and mutual infringement pppfffttt

Who cares about that

Lets be sensible her

I have had a good diet and exercised a lot in my life and never got over 76 kg. Last year I had a huge shock, pain in the left arm while walking up a small hill which resulted in 3 stents in a 95% blocked artery. Im now 61 and don’t feel any different except no pain in the left arm any more. My problem was all hereditary so even a good diet and exercise was not the answer. I am so lucky to be here so make sure, any signs of pain take it seriously, don’t wait to go to the doctors.

PS: I’m back exercising and can do up and down the steps of the Concord grandstand 5 times = 750 steps and the Tiger boys give me support as well when they see me.

I’m a lucky man

Just a guess but we’ll probably be training from Leichhardt Oval whilst this is being built and offices might be somewhere in Ashfield as snake mentioned.

WT currently have a one million dollar development application with canada bay council for 6 demountables to be put up at Concord Oval for a period of up to 2 years.

Not sure why we wouldn’t use Leichhardt and office space nearby.

Office space nearby LO?
Where?

It costs $800 an hour to use Leichhardt Oval

Wests Rugby are using the the old Hockey facilities for their head office. Not sure where the Tigers are going, maybe Wests Leagues at Ashfield. It is a responsibility of Canada Bay Council to find appropriate facilities for the lease holders (West Harbour Rugby) and any other users of Concord Oval. So it is upto the Council to assist with this

“Exclusively reveal”
Bahahaha!!!

Agreed, this is the same info that was out 9 months ago

Now, my update on this is:

DA has not come out of council

No contracts have been signed for knock down or build. This will in all likelihood it will be 2 separate contracts

The Tigers too be based at St Lukes during this period

The Plans are for the knock down to start Feb next year

Is that Damian McKenzie looking to switch from Union to League … ??

No

Not that I’m aware off _ he was just an example of the quality of players in rugby for that position plus he appears to be on the outer with the All Blacks at the moment

What I was saying, the club should try to find somebody similar to him outside of the normal players we look at within the NRL or Super League

He’s not in the All Blacks because he tore his ACL earlier this year, otherwise he’d be an incumbent and probably be very happy there. I’m not being critical of the left field suggestion - I like them - but I don’t see an incumbent All Black switching codes. That’s a very hard poach, especially when he hasn’t had a chance to play at a World Cup.

Agreed a very hard poach but he only has a year or so to go on his contract

There are lots of good rugby fullbacks running around in UK and France even SA, it may be worth a look as the talent pool in the NRL is absolutely zilch at present
