I will have a crack

It was the best debut we’ve had since Benji. Off contract soon and other clubs will be circling. Extend him by early September at the latest, but start talks now

That is how the Broncos have got themselves into trouble paying overs on promise, there is no need to rush. If you sign a player at a lower value & then their form sees what they believe is a rise in value a player tends to leave chasing his new value nowadays so no point at this stage.

I think Talau could be an exceptional centre, he reminds me a lot of Matt Gidley how he moves & always seems to get his hands free.

@Sart0ri said in My team for Round 10 vs Broncos:

AD is our best fullback and probably our best 5/8. At 6 he could have the simple game plan of run hard like a 2nd rower or give early ball out wide.

The spine is missing a good support player, we make a lot of breaks and half breaks but there is no one there to take advantage. Look what a difference Tedesco’s support play makes for the Roosters or Gutherson’s makes for Parra.

I thought that is why Walters was bought here. He should have been on the bench as a utility he could be dynamic coming off the bench trailing
Grant. It will be an interesting week as Brisbane radio are reporting Walters or Glanville could be off to the Raiders this week as potential replacements for Hodgson.

Cowboys are not looking at resigning Francis Molo and contract talks not progressing. David Fifita wont be at the Broncos and another player is going as well when he does. Despite Benji stating not going anywhere manager is shopping him around at present watch this space.

There is definitely an offer on the table for Francis & he is still in discussions with the Cowboys. The Broncos player you are talking about leaving the Broncos is probably Tesi Niu who the Titans believe agreed in principle in March after meeting Meninga but has yet to sign a contract & is in talks with Brisbane currently. I think there is a lot of smoke about Fifita that I think is coming from his manager Steve Deacon who Fifita is trying to separate from, so to me it doesn’t make sense to sign a long term deal & be paying a manager who no longer represents you especially the type of money that is apparently being discussed, no inside knowledge of this just my opinion.

@TheDaBoss said in Signing Suggestions & Rumours:

how about we steal Moeaki Fotuaika. they can have Mcqueen

I think there will only ever be one Fotuaika to don the Tigers jersey & unfortunately the world will never get to see him reach his full potential as a player, man & father. Hopefully his name will never be lost to the Tigers & the supporters. Perspective is a wonderful thing.

Ese ESE was close to signing this year but the Tigers wouldn’t move on their price or length of agreement

From the mouth of someone from the Broncos who also coached Simpkin at State level, has heard nothing of the rumour. He does believe that Simpkins is a better prospect than Grant especially in the kicking game. Also Molo has had minor talks with Cows & Titans. The demons he has battled are huge & are something he is going to battle for the rest of his life, personally I don’t think he would be able to handle living in Sydney.

With Thompson moving on has Hoffman been promoted to the NRL squad? I hope so, finally we could have an above average goal kicker.

The Dragons are going hard for Tom Dearden, he is contracted until 2021. Milford pulled the Broncos pants down by taking up his option for another year so they need to offload players or backload to be able to keep youngsters. The Tigers have requested talks with Flegler (under contract until 2021) & are also interested in Farnworth but he is waiting to see what the Broncos can offer.
