I’m a bit worried people will get angry at Stefano if he isn’t an instant success. There’s a lot of hype around him but he’s still a kid so he’s gonna take some time to turn into a high level player most likely
He’ll be fine, I’m not so much worried about what he does tonight. Give him an offseason under Madge and he’ll be a very good bench prospect for us next season.
Ahhhhhh that wts off season…a mythical creature that turns chumps into champions. Not aimed at the player named in the thread but is our off season so intense and impressive that we turn players careers around. Seriously the amount of times I have seen people mention give him an off season under (insert coach here). We are wasting money on concord. Why build the coe afterall our off season is almost mystical in its ability.
He used to give 110 per cent But an origin hooker please
Dean Young played a game or 2 at hooker in Origin didn’t he? Senter was every bit his equal IMO. If you play for the right club, doors will open.
Mbye has played SOO at hooker too IIRC?
Dean Young is up there as one of the most overrated footy players.
Dean Young was lucky his old man was a talented footy player. Thats what got him a gig
Just want to start by saying I am not one of those Luke Brooks hater, but think it’s high time the club stopped trying to build this football team around him. This is only my opinion but I feel he fails to read a game, take ownership of the team and control plays like your Adam Reynolds, Nathan Clearys, Mitchell Pearces etc do so consistently well. I think his barrier, in his own progress and development, is that he lacks confidence and self belief and this impacts negatively on the structure of the team. Tigers have purchased well recently with the Luleui brothers and Adam Doueihi but the purchases are still built around the long term plans the club has to keep Luke Brooks as the key man. Luke Brooks has ability no doubt but he has to back himself and believe in himself. I may be wrong and I would like nothing more than to see him excell but I am thinking it’s time to start building the club around those recent signings and throw the cheque book at a proven half back like Aidan Sezer who wants to return home to Australia.
I thought you were serious until I read throw the cheque book at Adam sezer. Good wind up. Well played
I have a dream that my little children will one day not have to listen to a WT coach or player talk about turning up, but that it will be a given, the least expected… Yes i feel like Martin Luther King Jr right now, but are we the only club that always talks like this? I can’t remember Madge talking like that at souths… not that i would have read what he said at souths.
Grant - 22.
Got a feeling this isn’t going to benefit the tigers in years to come tbh.
Yeah it seems like a foregone conclusion that he’s returning to the Storm.
He’s a shoo-in for QLD SOO too, along with Friend. Much better at 9 than Mbye. He’s the best young player we’ve had in some time.
I just posted in an other thread how I think he would improve the storm this year. They miss a real spark.
Read Harry picked up the 3 points on the weekend. Surely he’d be looking pretty good for rookie of the year.
He is in contention for over all winner
Watching the storm play, I’m starting to think that he would add to them this year. They could do with his energy. Never knock a champion but the new rules suit him more than CS
