I read that if Broncos get beaten, Sharks and Wests Tigers can draw and both get through and bump Broncos out on f/a.

Would be funny if the game went to GP and both teams sat down on the ground for 10 minutes.

Draw would be no good because the Panthers could get up in the game after on Sunday arvo and overtake us, sharks and Broncs.

@Don_Kershane How come this week nobody’ is calling out to sign Ponga?

Knights version of Mitch Moses

Still in the sin bin from the 1st game isn’t he ??

It’s just seems he wasn’t trying as hard this time.
Maybe he’s spat the dummy, I don’t know.
He made that weird milkshake comment too.
It’s just that I see a few similarities to us a few years ago.
Maybe the players don’t rate the coach.
Anyway I’m going off topic.

@Geo …GI was medically retired by the NRL and he had a long history with his battles with mental health issues. I think the NRL can rubber stamp It, it just might mean we have to pay Mats the dollars instead of a insurance company. Of course we are talking WestsTigers, so yes it’s a million to one to happen

Inglis just retired, foregoing the money in his contract. No NRL intervention needed.

But didnt he then got given a “Robbie Farah Style” job at the club?

Watching the game a second time I noticed that Ponga basically submitted in nearly every tackle. Almost Mitchell Moses like. Maybe reading too much into it but I’m half inclined to suggest he wasn’t having a dig??

Funny you should say that.
Apparently it’s Isaac Moses pulling strings in the background that has caused all this.
The Knights recruitment manager that has back doored brownie and met with O’Brien is an old mate of Moses
O’Brien is also managed by Moses.
Also there were some strange recruitments this year which also happened to come from Moses stable.
Looks like Moses has stuffed another club.

@Tigerdave I get where you are coming from but the boys CANNOT relax for a minute. We have seen in the past what happens when they relax.

Yes sadly we may have left our run too late. Now we not only have to win both games but also still rely on the results of other games to go our way to make it. If only we’d won the game against the Bulldogs - only 2 points in it after lots of disruption losing both Farah and Mbye and a bad kicking day!

The way I calculate it on the ladder predictor we can drop a game and still make the 8. IF the roosters beat Panthers next week
Thanks to a big points differential between us and the Panthers.
Maybe someone can check that.

Not correct - Donkeys are 1 point ahead of us, so we need to win the next 2 games and they need to lose 1.

You are right.
I don’t know what’s going on with the ladder predictor. It’s giving me false hope.
We have to win two and death ride the Broncos.

Unfortunately, yes.

Broncos play Parra at home and dogs away.
Which are 50-50 prospects if you don’t have the NRL helping you out.

@TSupps05 From the Daily Telerag

LOMAX-MADGE DINNER

Coach Michael Maguire has been spotted having dinner with Dragons centre Zac Lomax, leading to speculation he is heading to the Wests Tigers.

The pair met at the Princes Hotel in Sylvania on Thursday night. Maguire told us he has no room in the salary cap for 2020 but refused to rule out making Lomax an offer for the following year when he is off contract at the Dragons.

Sounds too good to be true.
Lomax is a gun.
He is one player that you would throw Reynolds type money at.
