The annoying thing is the fact i thought we were over being the laughing stock of the NRL, but poof we are back to that point again. Surely it’s not just a coincidence it’s always happening to us.

But we are not the laughing stock of the NRL. If anyone is, it’s Penrith. They sack IC and pay him out. Extend Griffen and, less than a year after his extension, they sack him and offer the man they sacked previously the job. This is Keystone Cops behaviour.

Gould has admitted he didn’t have a Plan B when he sacked Griffen and now he is saying that he doesn’t expect IC to ask for a release to coach Penrith next year. Now there is talk of Penrith appointing an interim coach for two years until IC becomes available.

This is bizarre behaviour and Penrith (Gould) look like complete amateurs.

Hard to argue with that. I agree.

Dave Taylor is ready to go

Dayumm! Dave “the cake train” Taylor.

Sweet Jesus, that’s a reserve grade park footy frame he’s carrying.

Too many cold ones at the local after training.

Where is Taniela?

:bawling

I know right. I still have his signed jersey. Probably should frame it and pray to it each night. Fonua could be his second coming lol

Would of been awesome to see Taniela and Dwyer in the same team for more than 4 games.

I know, what a shame. Both destined for big things too; Simon Dwyer, especially. Poor bloke. Might well have been Wests Tigers greatest ever second rower. Anyway, hope he is enjoying life and his position at the club.

Kennnel want him named as 18th man for the rest of the season so he doesn’t get any game time and wont develop for us. :crazy

Would be a blessing in disguise if they named him 18th man for the next few weeks. It would push him to request an early release.

The way he conducted himself as captain, leader and local Leichhardt “diehard”, in my eyes, cannot be forgiven without some sort of positive action on Woods behalf. Yes, I can accept that life would not have been easy at the Tigers during the period he says was tough, but the same goes for the rest of us. We stick with our club through thick and thin. That is called loyalty and commitment to a thing that you hold dear. I am a long time Tigers member in my early 20s and have experienced the good with the lows, but thats footy and thats what die hard supporters and persons do for the team they love. Our family as long time Tigers supporters which have met and was fond of Woods, makes his actions hurt more. Sometimes it is not all about winning or for your own personal reasons, sometimes, its for the bigger picture - like the club, team and supporters. I don’t believe Woods saw that or really valued it.

Come on now… We surely won’t be clearing Grant for Woods. Grant has been average since he joined us. Its hardly likely his move means anything for a big signing.

I for one would not welcome Woods back without a public apology or at least some noticeable change in his attitude or view of how he treated our club and fans.

Wow. I am very surprised that it is a four year deal. Would have preferred 3. Anyway, interesting signing. Time will tell how he’ll go. Don’t get me wrong, he’s very welcome.
