What boggles my mind is Brooks has been in grade for about 5 years now. Id assumed he would know with a 6 point lead with 10 - 15 to go to kick for touch at the end of the set to grind down the clock control the tempo give our pack a chance to grab a breather and reset our defensive line and slow the game down. But no put a bomb up on the fifth because the other thousand times it was useless dont matter xause maybe the thousand and furst time will do something. What the heck is he thinking.
great now we get to hear about how nathan cleary is such a hero. It had nothing to do with the fact masters missed from pretty much infront im sure after the second or third kick i saw him smirking like it was funny. Surely there has to be someone else in the team who could kick. All he needs to do is kick one and we win what a spud.
For the lofe of me i cant understand why we are being mentioned with manly and cronulla as the most likely teams to relocate. I could understand if it were a few years ago when our board seemed to constantly be at each other and could’nt get anything positive done. But times have changed for us were much more stable our boardroom are working as one after 20 years weve got a center of excellence onthe way and not to mention the most important part we were only one of three teams who made money last year. It makes no sense to me.
i cant see how ots possible to get caught two years before and then two years after you won a comp and expect everyone to believe the year in between when you won you were legitimate. At the very least the cheating help assemble the roster that won the comp that would’nt have been assembled without the cheating.
We hold all the aces….Penrith must be made to cough up big dollars for a starting point…Tighten the screws Wests Tigers… :sign:
I dont see how you think this. Penrith have all the aces. Penrith have IC signed for 2021-2024 on big money. We have him signed on a contract for 2019-20. Penrith are in a position to sit back and have Gould coach them through Ciraldo for as long as it takes. On the other hand we would have a guy coaching us who doesnt want to be here, lost respect of the players, constantly dogged by media AND we would lose all possibility of signing Bennett.
I think the best we could hope for would be Cleary leaves with no payout. We are not in a strong position, through no fault of our own.
On what planet would he have the right to a pay out from us :crazy
As things stand right now, that is EXACTLY what would happen, right here on earth. IC has a contract with Wests Tigers to coach our club. If Penrith just sit back and say “we’ll wait until 2021”, then the ONLY way we could get rid of him is pay him out.
This is the real worry, we have all seen Ivans true color’s whether he is as conniving to dig his heels in hoping for a payout from the club who if memory serves correctly gave him a job when he was on the coaching scrapheap
would be the ultimate dog act. For clearly to
keep whatever decency he has in the eyes of not only Tigers supporters but league supporters in general he must just walk once the Tigers sign a eeplacement no payout. Otherwise if he demands a payout fine, if were going to be stuck paying 2 coaches again jire a replacement and leave Cleary on gardening leave for the next two years. So he can watch Penriths so called premiership window sliwly close over the next 2 seasons.
Not sure if anyones interested just an article about the tigers being too much work for Bennett.
