Not a chance we’d be letting Liddle go. The club has earmarked him as future hooker, just as Farah was when he had all his shoulder injuries when he was young. Same with Benji.
I’d let madge see how he goes in preseason, and then possibly even look to extend his contract by a year or two already if he’s looking good. Not on big money. Might be able to get a bargain for a few years. Lidz won’t want to sign long term without proving his value, but he’d definitely be worth locking up for a bit longer in ths short term
I agree, Robbie has been extended this year to bring Liddle along, couldn’t ask for a better mentor.
Liddle is our future no.9, all the talk of Cook is wishful thinking - he’s too expensive and Liddle is also explosive off the mark. They shouldn’t be called hookers anymore - that role died when the scrum feed bypassed the front and second rows.
everyone says liddle is the future
yet he cant get a run of games together……
is he 2024?
A few years ago in the SOO he was a match winner if my memory is correct
Yes he was, for Queensland, he hogged the ball and went for glory, should have passed to an unmarked winger and we wrap up the series, but alas, we lose the game and series
NSW team was rubbish for yearS. Jhayne wasn’t the problem.
It depends which hayne we get. If in right mindset its a steal… If not then he’s just another has-been we pick up.
Depends on the price
Any coach who turns down Manly is our kind of coach…
Interesting one that.
I’d say our facilities are terrible, worse than manly.
Roster at manly would suit Madge more.
Don’t really get it.
Manly make the tigers look good.
It’s not just the facilities. Manly don’t the same number of coaching assistants as most clubs.
Trent barrett had to do the role of 5 people.
So instead of just doing his job, he had to edit videos each week for every single player. Do washing (his partner helped him wash jerseys),
It might sound petty but there were a number of things like this that Trent was doing every single week -that take an extra 20+ hours a week mean he has less time to focus on his real job.
