Agree mate. Who knows what’s happening here. I have been told by someone at the club that some players have still not heard a word from the club since their last game regarding contracts etc…. This includes Charlie Taylor and Elijah Taylor who is still waiting on neg. Maybe the club is waiting to see if a couple of other contracted players decide to leave first, before any other signings made to free up $$$$
I don’t think Liddle needs a minder. That is why he was rated above Cherrington. Liddle does have some size about him and is a very solid defender.
Agree. Liddle has made his debut and played cup. He knows what he is doing. The kid needs No minder the kid is tough and good
They asked the players first if it was okay if they signed him…. Players said yeh
Mate, he is not nice. He tells you only what you want to hear. “speaks with a forked tongue” Dreadful signing
Are you a player agent… Or maybe a player parent?
No and No. Just know of him and good mates with some players. Anyway that’s my thought on the matter
Robbie Farah has torn his bicep at training.
I don’t know he seemed a decent centre to me coming through ranks. Think full back will set him back as he likely will always be playing second fiddle.
I agree centre is his best position, he is a very strong kid and goes well there
He’s got the build of a centre.
Heleta to centre…Simona to wing!..
I don’t like Simona as a winger, his best position is centre. He does gets caught out in defence and will be worse on the wing. Its a hard position to play and you have to be the right player for wing , it specialised. But with no one else he might have to play there. A Shame we don’t have young Charlie Taylor for the wing would be perfect. Last I heard he is killing it in Aust rugby 7s overseas
I hope Idris goes well for us, keeps a positive attitude to his training and games. My friend saw him in a northern beaches establishment on the weekend completely out of it drunk as a skunk. He didn’t cause any problems but there were reports in the past with his alcohol and it puts himself in a vulnerable position
Barba was caught with cocaine last year as well but the club kept quiet. He was also warned at the finals time that he has a strong chance of being drug tested as well as all players from NRL. But he didn’t take any notice. He is nothing but problems including assaulting his partner, gambling, drinking and he needs to go away and sort himself out.
I feel sad for his family and young kids having to deal with his constant stupidity.
Wendell Sailor after testing positive for cocaine Australian rugby officials tore up his half-million-dollar-a-year contract and had been suspended for two years.
But the NRL will give Barba a slap on the wrist.
Cocaine is an illegal drug. If the ‘norm’ person was caught with it, they would be charged and in front of the courts. Why aren’t the Police investigating this to find out where it’s coming from ? We have young players moving into the top NRL squads and it’s a concern, as well for their families. There has to be a Duty of Care from the NRL and not a bandaid solution
