Just checked DWZ stats and he’s scored 5 tries in 9 games and averages 167m a game, that’s 20 more meters than nofa! All that in a dogs team Playing out of position with no forwards. Just imagine nofa and DWZ chalking up those meters in our team together! For 3-400k and swap with Joey leilua, make it happen!!
They would be one of the slowest wing combinations in the NRL. A big no thanks. Wingers also need to possess pace and outstanding finishing and not just 10 metres out.
DWZ should not be blocking one of our good youngsters from a wing position. Good young players who even at their age offer more than simply hitting the ball up like a second row forward. Thank goodness Sheens is coming so we can have some innovative thinking aboard HMAS Weststigers.
Having been to many Reggie games this year the constant call that the younger up and comers would be blocked by external signings is odd.
To be frank I have seen no one that this would affect there certainly is no standouts that’s for sure, watching a depleted Panther side at Lidcombe on the weekend this would certainly be the case for them .
Signing externally is certainly needed at this stage … Jersey fleg players look most likely moving forward.
I’ve been impressed with Tuilagi in the games I’ve watched. Not a fan of him either Snake?
pretty sure snake was referring solely to wingers getting blocked by signing DWZ
which i agree with, if there was any position where there was an opportunity for a kid to come up and show what they have it would be the wing spot, yet nobody really cemented there spot or was given an opportunity.
instead we moved talua there, roberts, gave cini a shot and then was hung by the fans after a poor second outing. if fitz or any of the others were ready they would have had a shot by now.
is DWZ the right guy? i dunno
is looking for a winger the right choice? i would say so
