@happy tiger:

This wasn’t happening 3 months ago

What has changed ??

Remember when we played Souths and Manly and absolutely smashed them? We didn’t take any of their crap from the kick-off and the players looked like they would die for each other.

It feels like so long ago now…

@derailed:

what is the capacity out there? I couldn’t see many more fitting in

Mayer has stated that publicly it is listed as holding 20,000, but privately (and realistically) it would hit capacity at 17,000.

@tig_prmz:

Anasta will be captain until Soo finishes. I think once farah is back full time - we’ll see the end of Anasta tbh.

Or maybe even against the knights. Potter was firm that Anasta is under pressure.

Maybe once SOO is over, Austin will take over 5/8 permanently and Anasta will be sent to NSW Cup to ‘guide’ Moses. Anasta hasn’t been great but he has helped Brooks quite a bit IMO, maybe he can do the same to prep Moses for next year.

@WTDiehard:

The Tigers biggest mistake apart from not paying Sheens his salary was allowing him to walk around free of charge.

I would have made him coach Jersey Flegg at least and would have demanded he relinguish the Aust coaching job. After all the tigers are his primary coaching job, regardless of whether he was terminated. If he was under contract then financially we are obliged to pay him but we certainly can demand certain things from him as well.

Situation mismanaged and poorly handled by Mgmt.

Now this is all speculation, but as I understand it: WT offered Sheens new roles within the club after sacking him as coach. He refused them all and walked.

If this is the case, we made the right decision. If we just stopped paying him for no reason, then it was poor management for sure.

To scared to put his body on the line needs more time in the lower grades.

That’s exactly how I see it.

Looked like Rowe just gave up there… not sure he would have caught him but still.

@wtigers:

Video ref didn’t cost anyone anything. The on field ruling was NO TRY as called by the ref and touch judge who were both RIGHT THERE and no camera angle showed the ball conclusively on the line. The video ref made the right decision, the fault was in the on field official’s decisions.

Bit hard to believe that it isn’t grounded there and he’s bounced 2m into touch without getting it down…

Melbourne vs Canberra Spoilers

Well the video ref just cost Melbourne the game… After what’s happened in the Souths and Cowboys games and now this, I’m very nervous for tomorrow. How are the video refs screwing up so horribly??

It’s obviously a horrible crowd number, but the question has to be asked. Where were all the tigers fans that attended LO last week? I doubt 10k Manly supporters showed up, hell probably not even half of that were at the game. Is CSS that hard to get to? Do people not like the venue? People say that Manly fans don’t travel, is that starting to be true for us?
