Ask yourself is Madge an upgrade on Cleary?
Yes.
So I don’t see a problem if he wants to leave to make way for someone better.

Not sure why people feel so hard done by Cleary.
He did us a favour.

Just because we landed on our feet, it doesn’t excuse what he did.

Exactly. Ivan was not thinking about the club that brought him out of the wilderness, he was just thinking about himself.

Coaching his son?? Please. This is about getting a truckload more money than the Tigers are paying. If we offered more money than Penrith for the father/son combo then they would be running out for us instead. Money talks - and that isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but just call it what it is.

If he’s swinging the money his sons way to circumvent the cap though, they can’t call it what it is.

True - there could be some Cleary family shenanigans afoot. Not the kind of thing we want to touch with a 10 foot pole.

I’ve got no issues with the CEO or chair. We finally have stability in the office, replacing either of them now would be crazy IMO

Only at the right price - a price that doesn’t make you think twice about dropping him to the reserves if he doesn’t perform.

If Madge can get Hayne’s head right, he is a genuine game breaker. Unfortunately, his head is usually up his own a**. It’s all a mental thing with JH.

Apparently Shaun Johnson is exploring his options, would be the x factor we need in the halves. Handy goal kicker too. Maybe Maguire can talk him into it, assuming the Roosters haven’t already signed him.

Born in Sri Lanka (so I picked “Asian”), moved to Sydney at 5 years old. Lived in Randwick but became Tigers fan at age 7 because, as I explained at the time, “I like tigers more than chickens”.

I have lived in PNG (6 years), NZ (14 years) and now in Brisbane for the last 7 years - never far from Rugby League!

Is it just me that thinks the Broncos are the wrong target? I reckon Dragons are more likely to drop out, just pray that the Bulldogs do us a favour. Their other two games are away to us and the Knights.

In any case, we have no option but to win our last three games and keep our fingers crossed. It’s a funny game, and stranger things have happened (mostly to to us!).

What a rubbish article. Mainstream news media has turned into the tabloids that they used to look down on. I have no idea where to get reliable sports new any more.

To be fair, Tigers have the advantage here. If we dig in and don’t release IC, Penrith need to sign a head coach before 2019 kicks off. We have no such problem. The minute Penrith signs someone, then IC has no options, assuming his drive is to coach NC.

Theyll just go with the one they have as a caretaker, from all reports hes a bit like the Rabbits new coach, and seems to
have a lot of support from those that matter, especially as he has a much better relationship with the players.

Actually , I wouldnt be surprised if Barrett is part of the deal, Gus has a high opinion of him,

Yeah I think his name is Ceraldo. They will have to make him permanent head coach at some point, can’t be caretaker forever. Or find someone else e.g. Barrett.

I don’t know IC personally, but I can’t imagine that someone would return to somewhere he was fired from. It’s not like he can’t get a job anywhere else.
