Anyone reckon the warriors players have any questions to be answered @ the judiciary? the Hiku crusher tackle was ugly. Didn’t even get put on report. Of course if it was a tigers player they’d be facing a murder charge

He was charged and received zero weeks.

I only saw it once, but it looked similar to me to the one they pinged Packer for. And Packer got less than a week for his, it was his carry-overs that worked against him.

I’ve given up on the judiciary ever since that Penriff game where they knocked out three of us and nothing was said.

They weren’t at all similar. Hiku did his very best to destroy the neck on two occasions in one tackle. Packers arm brushed and may have messed up the part in his opponents hair.

No, we don’t need the spoon. We need to move on losers and bring in winners

Being dropped to reserves obviously helps for a week or two then the losers simply revert back to their well below average ways.

I think the packer suspension is an interesting one. Seems like he got done for intent more than anything, he fell In a bad way but he barely even touched Guthos head

Packer has a bad reputation with the refs and i think they watch his actions more closer than others, he did drop his weight in the tackle but unsure if really a crusher, and i do see other players do similar but not even a penalty.
His aggression is great, motor is good also which i was surprised about considering time out of the game.
Really want to see him and JWH at it in a few weeks if stays on the field.
That hit on Matterson was fantastic viewing, and loved the verbal spray afterwards, however i think it woke up the eels they were for a contest.

A lot of us dont think it was a crusher tackle. Looked bad initially, but a closer look showed it to be otherwise. Front on looked less like a crusher also. As Josh said, more intent. If it really was a crusher, he would have got a whole lot more than 1 week. Media beat up.

There was a bunch of crushers in last nights game vs the Warriors that were far worse than Russell’s so called terribly dangerous crusher - or perhaps not quite a crusher but intended crusher, or whatever else was mentioned last week. Funnily enough, last nights crushers were hardly mentioned at all by commentators, media or fans. That ridiculously dangerous tackle by Hiku was disgraceful and only a penalty came of it I think. I don’t think the referee wanted to penalise him for it either. Perhaps a touchies call?

Our spine sucks big time. But somehow commentators, the vast majority of tigers fans, journos and almost all forum members seem to consider Marshall some sort of God. Funnily enough, the rest of the rugby league world pretty much agree he’s just as bad as the rest even after 15 odd years or so practice his craft. Once again, no finals for the messiah. It’s a heck of a record.

Is there anyone coming through? Anyone? Madden and Douehi maybe?

Do we start to prepare for next season?

It’ll take a heck of an effort to make the 8 now. Can’t see it.

I gotta say, they just all look really kind of tired. Not what I expected as I thought they were proving to be the fittest team going. And they’re out of ideas in the halves completely. Benjis boring bombs are Taylor ball re-visited but nobody says it. Walters doesn’t have much of an idea attacking although I don’t really see him get the ball much in good attacking position. Mbye…sheesh. Nofs going sideways again. God it’s hard to watch at times.

A premiership win will change everything. Let’s just do that. Fittler knows the writings on the wall and we’re on the up. He’s scared

AD could fall into the same boat as Esan, cant quiet nail fullback centre or five eigth.
Esan had that one good year

Still struggling to get all the hate for AD. I think with a touch more speed he’s got what it takes. Plenty of other noffies in the team to hang 💩 on.

He’s 21 barely played 10 games at fullback and has had one poor game. Let’s not throw him in the same boat as Marsters he’s got talent and he’s a hard worker

My concern with him apart from his lack of speed is his courage. Those two poor misses vs the eels showed he was well scared to me. Don’t get me wrong, I hope he can be great for us.

Throwing himself in front of Paulo and Sivo means he’s scared? I think the complete opposite, he put his body straight in front of the two scariest guys on the field. Technique may have been lacking but to say he’s scared is ludicrous

Technique may have been lacking is an understatement. There’s no need to fear the legs in either of those attempts for a first grade footballer. He looked like a deer in the headlights on Paulo. And everyone keeps saying he has size himself. I don’t know, I’ve never seen him up close, but he’s definitely not a small bloke. Brooks wouldn’t have shirked responsibility in either situation I’d suggest. If it is fear, he needs to get rid of it as a fullback in today’s game.

He slowed down Paulo and he had a decent crack at sivo who is pretty much unstoppable from that far out. Scared players don’t throw themselves into monsters like Sivo and Paulo.

He turned his back
