I thought Triguboff said that he would only help if he could buy the whole club? Didn’t want to be in partnership with anyone…that was the driving reason why

He doesn’t want to invest because he knows it’s wasted money. You don’t get involved in club rugby league to make big profits, you build massive apartments in Sydney. My problem with him isn’t that he hasn’t invested, it’s that he talks crap in the media and gets positive marketing attention for free off the back of pretending like he has some emotional connection to the club. It was always business with him, and that’s why he didn’t save Balmain and won’t do anything for the Wests Tigers. What’s in it for him?

A sticker and a lanyard.

😆 😆 😆

Esan was terrible for us almost every game. His form only deteriorated with the cows. Paul Green buying his signature was laughable. Green really is a shocker of a coach. With a bit of luck, the Donkeys will snap him up.

Keery to re sign with Roosters for a reported $900,000 a year for 3 years
I just don’t know where they keep on getting their money from
That’s an extra $200,000 a year on his current contract
Keery and Tedesco alone would eat up $2,000,000 a year
I guess when they say SBW will sign and pay roosters $400,000 to play for the club, that is their way of buttering us all up for what’s coming
Upgrades upgrades upgrades
Next will be a Teddy extension

It blows my mind how the NRL want an even comp but turn a blind eye to cheating.
There books like fine and they always will be because they are smart in hiding the truth…
Even ex Roosters players joke about side payments, Golf memberships, Kids private school fees, Rent free apartments, etc etc… One day someone is going to come out and tell all and it will all fall apart…

Anyway not much we can do about it except keep trying and maybe another 2005 year will come along.
I think the Salary cap should be looked at and maybe moved to a points system to ensure talent is spreed around. Rewarding the clubs who develop there juniors as well would be a great start so clubs like Roosters / Souths don’t keep poaching the best talent without putting all the work in.

The NRL should just look after all the salary caps for all clubs so every contract has to go through them and be approved and then all clubs will be on an even playing field as the NRL knows how much every player is on and how much cap they have left for each club

With the whole SBW thing going on currently, it seems that the NRL looking after contracts wouldn’t make much of a difference. Rules will still be bent to accommodate the Roosters wishes.

Packer is with us for another years so Ihope he doesnt loose his aggression as enforcer.

The crusher doesn’t need to part of his repertoire

You fell for the media hype also that was no crusher. He is side on and his hand makes contact with the head and neck. The motion looks bad but that was milked.

No need for that dropping of his weight motion. He had no control of where he was gonna land, it’s just boneheaded action. Way too dangerous to let it slide.

It was either a crusher tackle or it wasn’t.

It wasn’t - another boo boo by the MRC (Total incompetence as usual)

More like a boo boo from the knucklehead that’s been suspended for more games then he’s started this year.

Your opinion - how you think that is a crusher? beyond me.

Oh well!

I take my black white and orange glasses off at times

Packer was gone the moment he made the motion to push him down. It may not have hurt the guy but it was a bad look and showed intent. Was probably lucky to just get a week imo.

Plane dumb and dangerous.

Lol, what utter crap.

So giving away a penalty and getiing a week suspension isnt dumb?

Should never have been a penalty. Rubbish call. Unfortunately, some around here just hate him and find any reason to bag him. Same goes for JR.

If he didn’t drop his weight in the player the way he did there wouldn’t have been a penalty.

Of course a player can drop his weight onto another. There was no pressure in the head or neck whatsoever. One of the most disgraceful crusher calls ever imo. I’d say the same if it was the dog Josh McGuire. The game is going downhill faster than I thought f that’s a penalty nowadays never mind a suspension.

Not a player you have in a sitting position, there was absolutely no need to do what he did. I agree his actions weren’t worth a suspension and the MRC agreed with us.

Rubbish. The MRC will always be anti tigers. It’s just how it is.

Lol, its all a conspiracy I tell you! He was given a charge that doesn’t carry enough points for a suspension.

No conspiracy. It’s just the way it is. Enough charges lead to suspensions. That was not worthy of a replay let alone a charge. Its pathetic. I find it infuriating.
