We are only a couple of quality players away from a good side but till we get them it will be the same old same old, some good days mixed with plenty of bad days
Like about 12?
@rustycage think we’re all drinking to it tonight hehehe need to back it up too!
You mean I have to drink tomorrow as well? Makes for a shabby Monday. Pretty unproductive I’d say. Oh well…bottoms up
I’ll admit I’m a bit of a bad judge on last night.
I like winning, but these are my three least enjoyable ways to win:
- After blowing a big lead
- With dodgy or controversial calls
- Golden point…
Last night was the trifecta
Last night’s golden point was actually the first time Wests Tigers have won a golden Point for a long time. Surely that was enjoyable.
Wasn’t that long ago - only 5 coaches back
I dunno. He had one metre to run. I can’t see how he does’nt get it down.
How is this different to other ones where they still have 5m to chase and get a ball?
He landed over the line, was always gonna score. Had he not high shotted he may have been able to wrap it up. He didnt, cheekam looked dazed as he fell. Penalty try all day long unless it’s vs Melb. Donks or Cocks.
He got driven in a ripper of a tackle. I don’t know how much one bloke can take. I think it’s time. He should retire at seasons end. I can’t help but think he’s gonna cop another injury one day soon and he doesn’t deserve that. His shift to the pack, whilst impressive, has really hit him hard imo.
Add in 4 wasted points against Penrith and Melbourne and we’re sitting in 5th spot which wouldn’t have been a bad 1st half of the season…
I hope I’m wrong, but we seem to be getting worse as the season rolls on. I can see us slacking off in games and simply not turning up for others. Half way through the season and we’re still pretty clunky.
We’ll need some luck to scrape into the 8 if we don’t start putting together more complete performances.
Clunky is right. Our backline plays are so obvious to the defence it’s embarrassing at times. Like a slow-mo training run.
