I find conversations are a bit hard to follow at the moment if they’ve been done as a reply and not as a quote…The previous format allowed you to tap on peoples avatars underneath the reply to chase the conversation back through the thread.
Previous format ie:last week or so… Or before this whole new forum whenever it was change 6 months back or so… It’s been impossible for a while now… I end up skipping most post as I can’t follow it
I like the quote history showing again, though @Tigerlily has a point on the format with the recent reply change, as I also used to click on the replied name at the top of the box to understand the context.
Whenever I’d click on someone’s name I’d just get taken to their profile… Maybe I’m doing it wrong.
It just didn’t seem broke before
It’s changed…there use to a grey box of the replied to post containing that posters username at the end of the replying poster that you clicked on taking use to the post…it’s gone
now it’s just in the replid post which only take you to the profile…
If users quoted instead of reply it would be easier to follow…
Yep, the changes over the last 12 months as far as I’m concerned haven’t improved the experience at all. If anything, it’s just harder to stay in the loop of conversation. I’m over trying to search back to gather the context. The place looks nice, and I’m sure it is actually better, but I can’t work out how it’s better if that makes sense. I put it down to me not being tech savvy enough.
I learned long ago, that when youre looking for that dream car or house or whatever, you usually miss out on a few. But another always pops up, and when it does, it turns out you’re pretty happy with how things work out. I really don’t see much of a difference with Mitchell. Feet up folks, grab a beer and cross your fingers if you need to. There’s nothing you can do to change the the end result. Typing compelling reasons as to why he should have signed or why he hasn’t is probably only gonna add to your angst. Enjoy the weekend if you can.
So no conflict of interest here, being the Chair and major sponsor of the club ?
What’s the conflict? is he going to vote to lessen or withdraw Brydens sponsorship NO for gods sake look for the positives not the negatives
Was just a question keep your nickers on.
It wasn’t a silly question, what is the corporate structure of Brydens? If it is a board it is possible that he will now have to remove himself from any vote in relation to Wests Tigers and Rugby League in general, including votes about sponsorship.
Highly unlikely but definitely possible which could see the conflict of interests have a negative impact on Wests Tigers!
I don’t know what the ownership structure is but he’s the sole principal, so it seems unlikely that anyone else with an interest will go treading on him by pulling sponsorship from the Tigers…
You dont upset the boss he wouldn’t have taken the
job on if there was even the slightest hint of conflict
of interest he’s a smart man.
Big Sports Breakfast mentioned this morning that Brydens have extended their sponsorship for another 3 years with WT’s there goes the conflict of interest BS that has previously been raised.
Not sure it is such a great deal. Apparently the sponsorship is on a no win - no fee basis
So why hasn’t anyone had a crack at Willow?
Why would they do that?
An ambiguous post a few days back
Maybe the same reason you haven’t… Or maybe his post didn’t irk them as it did you?
No ink, no irkage here.
