Latrell Mitchell has surged into the outright lead in the Dally M Medal leaderboard but his status will be threatened by a potential suspension.

Mitchell received three votes for his efforts in helping Souths overcome the Wests Tigers in extra time on Saturday but could have points deducted unless he can prove his innocence over a contrary conduct charge for lashing out with his boots at opposing forward Luke Garner.

Well there you go.

Even without the grubby acts, I still don’t reckon he was the best player on the park … so biased.

If Talau tackles Latrell in the in-goal the Kick out at Garner never eventuates .

These are the 1% plays we suck at .

If any player should have stayed down it should’ve been Nofoaluma…

Then a Latrell would’ve seen 10 in the bin …
We need to play smarter .

Garner’s was nothing so I’d be surprised about that. Musgrove will get suspended imo. That big potato loves a good head slap and the NRL have already given him a few suspensions for it.

I’d have to watch the Musgrove one again … forgot what it was but my faded memory remembers him making a heavy collision

Was it a shoulder charge or high?

It sucks because Musgrove is exactly the type of enforcer this team needs.
He will be missed dearly if he’s suspended

Solid game again. I really can’t see Blore just walking in and taking his spot straight up with his lack of footy and speed of the game. Then there is the cohesion in defence. No way Blore can play 80 mins straight up, but then again…Jake Simpkin did fine. Good problem to have I suppose but I really think we need to be patient with Blore and for the moment Gardner is holding his own

Tbh I really rate Blore and Garner and after Offas defensive laps in multiple games that lead to tries, I’d be dumping him to 18th man

Yeah the bombs by Brooks are a deliberate tactic and the main reason souffs were starting their sets 10m out from their line was because of them

Honestly mixed feelings about last night. We deserved to win that game but still fell short yet again…annoyed but happy at the same I can say my team played with heart and determination for the full 80.

It’s amazing what good kick chase can do…people complained about Brooks “mid field” bombs. But they were very effective last night
