As my old gran dad used to say “You’ve got more front than Grace Bothers”
and when he would play a practicle joke on me he’d say, “You’re about as hard to get as a salad sandwhich”.
I still use them today.

RE: Robbie Farah dismisses suggestions he might leave the Wests
Even if it is true, so what. Farrah upset about missing a career highlight by getting some game time at a Wembly international. I can’t blame him. But I think he’s man enough to get over it. I think it just goes to show how professional Sheens is. A coach that is prepared to drop his own club’s captain in order to fiedl the best team. Media beat up written all over it. I’m just glad Tigers are getting some media time during the off season. Better than the usual pre season droll they drag out every year of pictures of the Sharks or Dragons running sand dunes down the shire somewhere.
RE: Would you take Todd Carney at the Tigers?
100%. Lui is as good as gone, no moltzen, and an old hard head father figure like Sheens to pull him into line. I think he would make a great addition. Move him in with Marshall so he can learn how to carry himself in public better and I think you would see him come of age at the Tigers.
RE: Robert Lui charged with assaulting girlfriend
Lui = idiot. Two years in a row he allegedly assualts his partner. Last time she was pregnant. He got off then because she wouldn’t go to court and give evidence against him thus effectievely ending the prosecution case. I hope his partner bats on with it this time. It’s like the Greg Bird case where the victim refused to give a statement and then concocted some story to help get him off. A terrible message to be sending out to young women.
RE: One thing I never understand
One thing I have taught the young bloke (10) from day one is to respect the other team and their supporters. They want their team to win just as much as we want to. Even when the crowd boo as the opposition run out, he claps as they run on. Then when our team run out its raptuous standing ovation. Last year at the Dragons semi he was upset at the way we lost only to have their supporters screaming in his face and giving it to him. I also don’t understand rubbing it in to the losing supporters.
RE: Will the tigers be stronger in 2012 than in 2011
I write this responsse trying to not let the dissappointment from Friday night have any effect but I don’t think we will be a better team next season. I think we will see very much what we have seen the past 2 years. Large periods of the season where there will be a lack of patience, inability to close a game down and grind it out and poor decisions that will cost us dearly. Then we will have a backs to the wall and fire up and make a charge to the finals. I really thought the memory of the 1 point loss to the Dragons last season would be far more than enough to get us over the line on Friday night. If the pain of 2010 couldn’t inspire our team to dominate to the last minute than I don’t know what the motivator will be for 2012. When it gets to the point of, which devistating finals loss do we choose from for motivation, I think that can do more harm than good. I think 2012, much of the same. Aghhh the emotional rollercoaster that is the life of a Tigers supporter.
RE: Seriously shattered
That 2nd half was very very ordinary indeed. The little bloke sobbed all the way home. Tiges reverted back to their old selves with dumb decisions on the 5th or woeful kick. Who thinks Marshall was injured early on and then carried it for the rest of the game ?
426kg - the total weight of fingernails swept up from the concourse area.
276 Mardi Gra wigs - worth of hair lost during the game by stressed Tigers supporters.
3789 tonnes of carbon released into atmosphere - from the final deep sigh as the final hooter sounds.
17 - the amount of times prior to Friday night that I will check to make sure my tickets are in the same place I last left them.
