Liddle back running early 2020?

Wasn’t there a serious set back???

Early rounds of 2020, so running in March or April, being 7 or eight months post injury, sounds about right.

i really really hope Liddle does not rush this

i want him back and i want him back FOR GOOD, no more injuries u great fella!

Wests Tigers youngsters and extended NRL squad members officially returned for pre-season training this week as preparations begun for the 2020 NRL season.

High Performance Manager Andrew Gray provided an update on a number of players who are currently undergoing rehabilitation following off-season surgeries, as well as those who are continuing to recover from injuries sustained in 2019.

Having suffered a serious knee injury in Round 22 last season, Jacob Liddle took a huge step forward in his recovery this week with the removal of a knee brace.

Following a positive surgical review, the young hooker can now begin his lower body rehabilitation program with a planned return to running in the early rounds of the 2020 season.

Josh Aloiai also recently received positive news following successful wrist surgery and will commence pre-season training in a splint until further healing occurs.

Russell Packer continues his recovery from a foot injury that saw the New Zealand international require surgery towards the back end of the season, while fellow Kiwi Elijah Taylor will return to training in early December following minor knee surgery.

Matt Eisenhuth and Alex Twal both had successful groin surgery in the off-season and will resume full team training in the coming weeks in the lead up to 2020.

During their representative commitments for Samoa, both Michael Chee Kam (shoulder) and David Nofoaluma (elbow) sustained injuries but neither will require surgery, with the pair to resume pre-season training in early December.

Currently on a train-and-trial contract, Brad Abbey is also progressing well following ACL surgery with the Canberra Raiders during 2019 and is on track to return to full training in February next season.

Wests Tigers senior players will all return for pre-season training in the coming weeks as Michael Maguire’s side continue to lay a strong platform for the year ahead.

@happy_tiger only because JT cpached Tedesvo to go to the left on a sweep every play. My god he had two players outside him all the time and never passed. Worst offence of all time.

Huh? so that was JT’s fault that Turdesco didn’t pass the ball. I know a lot of people on here hate JT but that is just ridiculous.

I dont mind JT

10x better than cameron smith

Mate he’s not that slow trust me.

okay ill take ur word

Why give up so quick. you were adamant he lacked pace. Why say something you dont truly believe.

Cant wait until the season proper starts, its a long off season.

I hadn’t seen enough of him to fully make a decison

Look a ponyos post and the intercept hr makes… he has speed

So why go on record saying he lacks speed.

Not sure lol…spure of the moment

@watersider said in Tommy Talau Re Signs till 2022..:

Does anyone know why Talau didn’t play in the last game when Thompson got ruled out? Both he and Farah were additional players, so they both were eligble, right? Farah on the bench didn’t have much of a role coming into the team as third hooker with 20 minutes to go. Talau coming in would have been replacing a back for a back, and I think would have helped our backline. Not wanting to go over all that, just seemed the logical straight forward decision and I don’t think Maguire made too many mistakes or odd choices last year, so interested in if there was ever any explanation?

On a side note, I thought when Farah came in he actually pressured the kicker and caused trouble for the Sharks, where they had time and space all day before he came on. This to me highlights the little things a specialist is able to do and also how much we suffered at the end of last year without a specialist there.

It was actually madges fault for that one, he admited after match that it had been a hectic day and he wasnt in the right mind… he said talau should of played
