ahh no thats just what a professional does, unlike the little bitches you are used to signing

Could be something… could be nothing, wasn’t at training today (Souffs LU Forum)

someone else mentioned he met with WT last night.

At Souths he will be their third choice winger.

With us he would be first choice FB.

That is a huge difference.Bennet is a master at moving them on…

Will be very surprising if he stays imo.

great loyalty shown by the bunnies. 😰 😰 😖 😖 👎

souths value their indigenous players

until a better one comes along

I’m going to go on record and say Latrell is the only potential Souths backliner that I’m enthused by or specifically impressed with. I don’t know why all the fuss over their current backline and salary cap, because I’m fairly indifferent to some of their footballers.

Doueihi seems a really good kid, good footballing heart and grit. I think he lacks strength in the tackle and lacks finesse to his game. I would be fine if there was some deal with Tigers to get him back, but he’s hardly setting the game alight and IMO no better a prospect than Momirovski already is, just different best positions. IMO Doueihi isn’t that much better than Thompson either, just taller. I think too many people watched Doueihi in a few finals games and became enamoured.

AJ I don’t rate, never have. He’s got Tim Moltzen all over him, and yes he’s scored tries backing up, so has Robert Jennings.

Campbell Graham - not seeing it myself. Big unit, still a kid, fast enough. Absolutely no reaction whatsoever on his face during games, which I find odd. Where is the passion? Wayne tried him out at centers, I don’t think he’s your first-choice there. Got mauled by Roosters in last year’s finals, so he needs more meat on that tall frame.

Braidon Burns - hasn’t done anything of note. Was really really ordinary on debut but seems to have steadied himself into an ok centre of no particular merit or deficiency.

Jimmy Jet - every few years he hits a real peak and is nearly untouchable for half a season. Not sure if 2020 will be one of those years, but he’s not getting any younger.

Dane Gagai - we all know, ace at Origin and extraordinarly average at club level.

Cody Walker - really likeable footballer, like an agile Cliff Lyons, absolute touch football talent. Typically cannot step up in the crunch games - finals, Origin. I like him a lot but he needs specific conditions to excel, like early season.

Adam Reynolds - unparalleled kicking capacity, so long as there is a platform. Tries hard the rest of times, decent little halfback.

Corey Allan - uninspiring so far. Can do a job at FB or wing or even centre, but far from impressive. Fairly ordinary defensively at FB.

Bryson Goodwin - back from the dead, no idea how he was going in UK.

That’s their first tier backline options, overall I don’t see the fuss.

Tedesco-Giraffe-Latrell-Manu-Morris-Keary-Cronk - now there is a star-studded backline to be complaining about.

Fair enough, but how many of our current backline would make the Souths starting side? I can’t think of one.

No-one from 1-7 of our side would make the Souths backline

personally i think brooks is a bette half then reynolds, adams just had the benefit of playing in better teams his career

Douehi has strong ties to the Tigers. Was a junior, still lives in the area and is good mates with a lot of their team. He often posts stuff with those guys.
Will be a big battle to keep him.

Souths forum FWIW

Make the kid an offer he can’t refuse

i wouldnt, he isnt that good

Seyfarth stood out in a Balmain SGBall game against the Sharks. Seyfarth, Suli, Doeuhi and Papenhuyzen all stood out even then as NRL players. Seyfarth was younger but it was apparent he had it. McIntyre is one of those hard tough forwards every team needs.

McIntyre wont get near first grade, Seyfarth a good chance too

however to me everything he says is in retro spect

I’d say the opposite, it’s fairly in advance and independent of media noise, i.e. it’s definitely not being taken from FB or instagram.

I’m not in the business of propping up THE_POM but the stuff normally comes in early. For example

“Leilua is 100% done for 2020”

before we announced it publicly, also

“trying are best to get Musgrove approved & registered for 2020. He’s kept himself really fit & would be great to have onboard.”

This one before Aloiai re-signed:

Josh Aloiai has deal on the table & will be making a decision after this weeks Rep game. If he chooses to stay then we have him, Thompson, MCK & Mikaele all signed up & only costing just over $750,000 collectively.

fair enough, im not a massive contributor/visitor to the forum so dont see everything, its just my observations. again the first two were fairly common knowledge, musgrove was pictured in training pics for weeks

Milky is an insider now? Wow things change quickly in this forum.

Insider on Dragon Ball Z, Nintendo Switch and whatever else the kids are into these days.

Yea latest tik tok trends😑

I suppose anyone can becomes a insider now days… it doesn’t take effort… the first and last step to doing it is to simply copy and paste any and every bit of information relating to ur inside information into 1 article… then get a catchy headline that says something like “Latrell GUARENTEED to come to tigers by Thursday”… and voila u r now the equivalent to “The Mole”

Basically the problem is people claim to know stuff, typically won’t say how or why, and a very significant amount of it doesn’t turn out.

Which makes you wonder, if they knew an old story but not the latest update, how close to the source are they really?

I can understand people keeping their sources private, but also they need to understand they are dangling sometimes annoying carrots in front of everyone else.

It just becomes a mess of people claiming to know things.

All I can say personally is there’s only 1 person who legit and consistently has the inside info and that’s THE_POM, and he/she is extremely judicious in commenting.

TigerTorch was a classic of balls-deep info but none of it could ever be ratified. It sounded so plausible and detailed that you think some of it had to be true, but it was never confirmed publicly - and would not be, because of the very specific nature of the info. And then abruptly stopped, like a snitch caught out, which adds aura and mystery to it.

white and Baze also seem to hear stuff and post it sporadically. willow and Geo also but they never say anything specific.

smoking gun and new smoking gun - all talk, about half of it right. Sounds legit but also sounds third or fourth-hand, hence why about half of it ends up wrong. People won’t take you seriously if you are about as correct as guessing, and that’s no slight against anyone or smoking gun.

Whereas me, I once met Keith Galloway’s dad on the train, that’s all I can say about insider info.

The Pom is just a fanboy.
Trust me.

He might have a friend in the club but he’s no more aware than you and I.

Has a great strike rate for someone who is guessing then.

Does he though? Im not knocking THE POM as to me he obviously has good info or works at the club, however to me everything he says is in retro spect. Ive never seen him come on and say ‘player X is signing next week.’ Again this isnt a go at him, as if he works at the club I’m glad there isnt a dude coming on here and saying stuff before its done. Just saying that he generally comes on after the event and explains what happened.

I can answer…said Luciano was coming along very well. Great speed and hands for his size.

Packers just about to start running. Hoping for big things now he is fit.

Interesting re talau, talking him for wing or centre but didnt sound like he was going to start. Kept saying not to rush him and he has plenty of time.

wsa there anything on the development players and how they are progressing?
