If he was any good, given the missing players the Broncos have had he would have made his debut by now…

How good is this guy? Off contract at the raiders. If we managed to offload Farah, which I guess is unlikely, I’d be happy for the club to look at him. The guy is a terrier.

Farah said. "They’ve got a battle to keep him. It’s going to be a big call for him about what he wants to do and I probably won’t be there. So I’ll stay out of it this time

Assume we offload Farah for 2017(which will never happen)

we still have Ballin, Cherrington and Liddle as our Hookers….why do we need another?

@Chris:

While growing up in the 80’s, Rugby League was my life. I loved EVERYTHING about it. I loved watching it on TV and playing it in school and for my club. During the summer when cricket bats and pads came out, I was still kicking a footy around.

As we moved into the 90’s and the 00’s, the game that was like a religion to me started to change. One club players were starting to become extinct. Contracts became worthless. The Aussie test jumper became worthless when you didnt have to play Origin to get picked and you didnt have to be an Aussie to play for Australia.

My biggest issue that I have with the game is the obvious rorting of the salary cap. Certain teams are able to buy top quality players at will while others dont have a hope in hell. The cap is flawed and the NRL has made no attempt to fix it.

The game has changed dramatically and I hate it. I havent watched an Origin game or a test for at least 7 years, maybe longer. I went from watching every single game being played on TV to rarely watching a game at all. Seeing Semi Radradra wearing the iconic green and gold Aussie test jersey was the final straw for me.

I think that once the NRL can find a solution for the salary cap so it’s rort free and fair for all, controlling player managers and putting value back into the Aussie test jumper, my love for the game might return. Im not really holding out much hope as the game has turned into a huge business that probably will never stop rolling.

Know how you feel Chris…you are not the only one who is becoming more and more disillusioned with the game…Why don’t you drop Greenberg an email with your post…believe it or not I believe he reads them!

Ayoub?
Obeid?
Dodgy dealings?
Surely not!

To that list add the following cleanskins:

Hopoate
Norman

I’m getting sick of this game, its constant objective to cheat the system at any cost and its forever stance on that the players are NEVER involved in any salary cap cheating….I mean Hello if you are given a paper bag full of cash in a car park, surely you know why you are getting it!!!

Rankin is so pedestrian it isnt funny. Our attack breaks down every time Brooks or Moses go to him. His bombed try was disgraceful and the 2 passes he threw in the last 5 minutes summed it all up.

Plus the 2 poor attempts at tackles that let in trys, I mean he tries hard, but he is not a first grader, if he was he wouldn’t have been in the ESL, and and some other team would have bought him back before this year.
He made his debut in 2008 and has 31 NRL games, 14 with us this year, say’s it all really.

He won’t be around next year

@CocaCola:

The whole situation could be staged, secret handshake between Parra/Roosters.

Roosters drop the chase for Hayne & instead sign Foran when he feels better next year (as they are happy with Latrell Mitchell)

Parra club & fans are happy to get Hayne back, without looking like tosses allowing a marquee player to openly walk out of the club.

In the mean time, Foran has more money to gamble with during his time off & Hayne mysteriously finds 200k at his front door step.

I’m with you on this one…100% staged.

Foran is out for the year with his shoulder injury…why can’t he focus on getting his shoulder right(which he will be doing regardless) and get his life in order (which he will be doing regardless) so he can come back good as gold in 2017…why couldn’t he do that whilst still being contracted to Parramatta??..Roosters or Dogs for sure next year for Foran…he will announce in February his life is good as gold and he is ready to rip again…and the NRL is the best place for him to be in to keep his head and life on the straight and narrow…watch… this is so staged!..
