Are there any good ones?
All i know is that any time we leave the game in the refs hands we get shafted. Only way to win is to get to the front and put the game away.
We win more than 50% of games with only two refs, Sutton and Klein.
Badger is our 4th best shot with a 44% success rate with him
What about when Munster tripped/back slammed on of our players. I thought that would come under a dangerous tackle or a least not in the spirit of the game
That “trip” is part of wrestling take downs and was beautifully executed!
Nothing wrong with that at all it happens many times each games when players are holding themselves up and defensive players need that take down…
I was more concerned about the TWO times Cam Smith wasn’t square at marker and then made the tackle and wasn’t penalised… but that’s the influence he has over refs I guess
How many times have you watched him play?
I’m just going off what I see.
He is only 19. Already very athletic and strong. Another off season or two and I reckon he is a gun first grader.
I don’t have to have seen him play, I was asking you legitimate questions. Basic yet important questions of the Tigers weee to look at signing him…
So can anyone give a legitimate reason to sign him other than he is fast?
Been watching this kid for a while in State Cup for Newcastle.
Not sure his contract situation however we should target him with Kayln Ponga joining Newcastle next year. You would think Ponga would be the Knights fullback
This kid is fast, tall and going to be a very good fullback I reckon. Has all the attributes. We need some youth and pace in our backline and this kid would really fit the bill I reckon.
ALL the attributes? What’s his defence like? What’s he like under high ball? Then more importantly what’s his defensive positioning like? What’s his talk like on field??
Saying a player is tall and fast is such a tiny fraction of what makes a good fullback!
Plus if he can’t get a start at the Knights of all places then we can make do thanks
I thought we should have kept Sirro and Taupau. We let these guys go in the hope that we’d keep the big 4 and they would lead us to become a top team. Taupau was already clearly a gun and Sirro’s defence was great.
Hopefully we’ve learnt from those poor decisions.
Sirro was a great defender??? What the hell are you talking about he was a horrible defender for someone who walks so tall! If anyone his size rand hard in his general direction he was useless!
Wow! Teddy may as well have said “this team is rubbish and I am too good to play with these guys”
He had to get in that he was giving 110%…lol…he did try hard tonight tho
What exactly did Tedesco say after the game I switched off when it finished!
He gave his all tonight I agree unlucky not to get a try but he sounded over the performances of those around him
And something like “that sin bin really put us on the back foot” uh… that was you Teddy… Slight pause, and he finally takes the blame “for that one”. He always looks so frustrated playing with our team… And talking about them.
Woods is almost always put on his back which means his play the balls are in slow motion, I think its the way he runs usually bum first when he makes contact.
This is rubbish, I severely dislike woods these days but he wins more PTBs than any other forward we have, and more often than not he does not end up on his back
