Titans are a massive bogey side for us. We always underestimate them.

RE: 2005 Similarities
I think this season is very similar to 2004.

The halves combo starting to really come together.
Last season for long term hooker
Possibility of making the 8 late in the season for the first time in ages.
Younger forwards starting to mature into experienced 1st graders
RE: I see another club benefits from the WTs...
T.M.Martin made a sensational debut for the Panthers last night…another one leaves and shines elsewhere,I’m wondering what he would have done for us if we weren’t so adament about making Brooks and Moses our future…Moses is getting better,Brooks has to do more if we are to have complete confidence in him…time will tell no doubt…
Are you serious? Wait until he has 50 games under his belt.
RE: Wests Tigers could call Campbelltown home due to Balmain’s financial woes
Nice to see Wests Ashfield being cool about this.
RE: Wayne Pearce Hill
This is why Balmain is dying. Living in the past.
Its supposed to be a Wests Tigers home ground. Why can’t a hill be named after Robbie Farah or Benji Marshall. Both have played more games for the club than Junior did for Balmain.
Its 1989 forever… ZZZZZZZZzzzzzz
RE: How pathetic is our club?
Best of luck to the young man, but this smells a bit like some of Ayoubs “Dirty Laundry” to me.
Unsettled and depressed playing out of position? Let’s call Danny W it will make it all better.
Don’t give me any politically correct nonsense. Wests Tigers and the NRL have welfare officers aplenty, and it sounds as though the senior players were looking after him.
RE: Robbie Farah..Discussion Thread.....
Can you imagine how we would have gone in 2005 if we had a domineering player like Farah is today on the scene??
The club’s success was founded by seasoned professionals who could only dream about the kind of money Robbie has even yet to come his way. He’ll be making more in a season than some of our legends were making in 5 years.
Mark O’Neill, Ben Galea, John Skandalis, Brett Hodgson. These guys spent years and years and years getting smashed almost every single week but never gave up, never complained and gave everything they had for the club. It didn’t matter that the club was a joke, that we were famous for putting fingers in bum holes. It was theirs and Tim Sheens professionalism and experience that were the foundation of the success that Robbie and Benji still dine out on today. All of those legends accepted that once it was time to go… it was time to go. It’s happened to Glen Stewart, Anthony Watmough, Luke Lewis and Ryan Hoffman. (And a million other) Robbie seems closer to Sam Ayoub than to the Club he is supposed to lead.
Robbie has played at the Club for 12 years but he was always well paid and looked after by the club. He’s been paid more than any Wests Tigers player in history. He has bled and suffered and fought, but that is exactly what he was paid so much money to do. I don’t like the way he tries to dress up his service to the club as philanthropy. He wants the club to serve him instead of the other way round.
Where the hell was Robbie’s leadership when we failed to close the game down in 2011 finals against the Warriors. Where the hell was Robbie when we threw away all of those 16-20 point leads over the last season. He has lost 2 yards of pace since 2010, goes missing in and after State of Origin, he communicates directly with Board Members, and brought the club into disrepute with what he said to Mick Potter.
He has never EVER said a single positive thing about playing at Campbelltown or the area. I can’t recall him ever saying how much he likes playing at Campbelltown. Only cared about “his farewell” at Leichardt. How can he be taken seriously as a captain by implying that his match being played at Campbelltown is a big letdown.
I think his reaction to all of this demonstrates how much this guy is off in his own little delusional messed up fantasy land. He has the concepts of service, entitlement and best interests all backwards.
