How will Cameron Smith both referee and challenge his own rulings?

“Trodden said NSWRL has asked Fittler to not comment on the story because there are several inaccuracies, according to the Blues, and they don’t want to further inflame the situation”. Next minute Bradley comes out.
Freddie is a roosters man at the end of the day - they’re trying to angle Latrell to stay. They’re trying to shame him into a paycut and make him crawl back on his own accord.

I thought exactly the opposite …they want him gone now …money well and truly spent

I agree hap. I think they have well and truly wiped their hands clean off him. Still paying though. Who knows with all the media rubbish thrown out there

Latrell to Souths to be confirmed within the week.

Tigers and Roosters both chasing Cotric for 2021. Cotric looking to move off the wing.

U said that over a month ago and have repeated it several times since. You either have a better source than everyone else or you’re a troll. Which is it?

If Cotric is off for 2021, I am struggling to think of any club in the NRL who wouldn’t be enquiring for Cotric.

Tigers, Panthers, EELS, Dragons, Souths, Storm, Knights, Titans, Cowboys off the top of my head would all be interested.

I think any time there is a very competitive field we are either going to have to offer ridiculous money, or we are no chance.

It’s been said a lot of our forum and I believe it is true, we just need that one star to sign and then the dominoes will fall. Unfortunately missing out of finals yearly does not make us attractive.

So Tszyu wins easily with Jeff throwing in the towel for his bloke. Fenech would never let one of his guys get hurt. Tim might prove to be as good as his dad … but a very long way to go before those comparisons are made.

I had the pleasure along time ago of watching Kostya train daily at the AIS in Canberra. I have never seen a harder working sportsman in my life and one of the nicest guys you could ever meet.

How typical, Burgess case determined in about 3 weeks…How long did matulinos take?..NRL helping them sign latrell…I’m convinced that’s what his manager has been stalling things for…grubs

That’s alright. As many others have said; If he doesn’t want to be here then so be it. We’ll move on. Wests Tigers have their ducks in a row and are heading for greatness. Have confidence in our Coaches, CEO and Board.

Well said!!

Whatever the reason … signing Mitchell and Moylan on high $s & long term contracts is not all that smart and for one I am not unhappy at this outcome.
Got the feeling that Madge doesn’t really give a rats. I think he would be more sorry he missed the boat on Lomax and AJ front … and Arrow before he priced himself out of negotiations.
I think that the Mitchell saga cost us plenty on the signing front. That’s what happens when you place all your eggs …

You believe that? They sat around for weeks on end on holiday doing nothing else but waiting for Latrell?
Lomax was never going anywhere either was Brimson. Who did we miss out on on the signing front? There aren’t that many elite players available. Come 2021-2022 you will see the results of the signings we have made this off season.

We are basically the only club with a war chest at present and still are coming up empty in the signing stakes. So next year when there are a few clubs with money to spend we will do better in the market place…can not see how it will happen.

Just got keep buying kids and pray for a diamond

I think we got a few diamonds this year, hopefully they stay on track as quite a few have great qualities with huge potential

We have money yes but do we just throw it away paying overs on not really great players? Biggest signings this off season have been Tetavano and Capewell. Majority of the other above average players have re signed with their respective clubs and I am happy we didn’t spend overs on those players just because we had the money.

So you’re suggesting we just forget about 2020 and focus on 2021 and 2022?

Why do you always insinuate and argue. I’m saying with the youth we signed we will see the results of these good signings a year or 2 down the track. Read posts before you comment mate.
