Even though Marshall tries he is the most overrated player in the NRL. I have been saying it for years. Both himself and Hayne are a mirror image of each other and both darlings of the media which annoys the $#@! out of me.

Marshall needs a decent halfback to be his foil....it's not his fault...if he had a decent halfback....one can only dream what sort of player he'd be now....

I may be on my own but i thought the dogs were good tonight and although i hate to see us lose this was much more acceptable than all the other losses this year.if we dont recover the season wasnt lost on this performance.

I remember in 2009 Brisbane played a prelim with Lockyer at halfback after Wallace was injured. The Broncos looked ordinary and the Storm blew them off the field. Gus said during the call something along the lines of players are either halfbacks or they aren't. A football team cannot operate without a halfback, no matter how good the player trying to play there is. The game was a prime example of that, Lockyer is one of the players of his generation but he looked overwhelmed. I see a similar situation arising with Marshall there. No matter how good a footballer he is, he isn't a halfback and we aren't the same team when he is there, rather than at 5/8.

Been sick of it for a long time. We are going backwards, players are regressing instead of improving, our defense is getting worse, we can't handle any sort of pressure, our kicking game sucks, our forwards bar one or two lack real impact and aggression, we are mentally weak - the same things that most have been complaining about for a long, long time.

What I am especially sick of is what some people are smoking calling us entertaining. Though that 5th tackle play is about the extent of the entertainment we provide these days.

Five limp hit ups and a hit and hope bomb is not entertaining, it's pathetic. And that's what this team is, pathetic.

Where are all the Sheens lovers now,he is a giant myth, the sooner he goes the better,Marshall is not,and never will be a halfback, please get us a half.
Sirro, did he play, the Miller haters take note,Miller never played that bad,no input in attack, and let in 2 tries in defence.

The Dogs played their worst game of the season last night and still beat us comfortably. That said, I think if Farah had played we would've won - just.
Sooner or later, next year has to be this year - Ricksen

. Yes I agree, Benji is a runner not a organizer .our game plan of 5 hit ups then a bomb is just so boring.on the subject of Benji his defense is terrible

Plenty of guys have been calling for sheens to fall on his sword for at least four seasons, but as always his lovers come in and give us the usual who is better and so on .Well after tonight something has to give.
We have way too many used past date players along with sheens ,and dont think life would get better if eicky sturart signed because he is a sheens clone watch last wednesdays origin if you want evidence ,He went into the game two props short ,played back rowers up front and had farah playing hooker and first reciever. My has been stuart to the raiders for next 3 years, justin morgan to take over from furner until then ,so we can only hope that rumor is right .

That's crap.
How is it crap? Is it just a coincidence that we made the semis and our defence IMPROVED OUT OF SIGHT when Steve Folkes came on board?
This is one of the worst examples of illogical thinking that I have ever seen. Seriously anyone who thinks Folkes was some sort of coaching genius is delusional. Folkes wasn't coaching the team Sheens was. Folkes wasn't the defenisve coach either. He was the strength and conditioning coach and his role was completely replaceable by close to any punter off the street who can use the internet.
