Hit Ups

Post by Masterton » Mon 11 Mar, 2013 9:39 pm

It's interesting to look at the stats for hit-ups tonight. Supercoach this year splits them between runs 8 metres and more and those under.

For example, Mason made 21 runs and 14 were over 8m. Blair made 4 runs, all under 8m. It's easy to spot the difference.

Besides Buchanan & Gallows, the real surprise was Lawry who made good yards in all 10 runs. Maybe he will end up in the back row sooner than later.

Buchanen and Keith both went well, hy didn't we try out Thompson and Pettybourne. We knew we would be light on in the forwards, so we bump 2 that might have a bit of mongrel in them. Well played tonight Buchanen, will expect plenty more as your improve.

I'm glad we didn't sign that grub Mason last year, eh?

Whoever is responsible for that one should be sacked.
