There will be one more signing for 2018 this year but it won't be a big name & it will be a utility type player to cover fullback/halves role. Final spot will not be filled UNLESS a refusable opportunity arises like Moylan, ect, comes up. If Cronk does play on it might create a chance for us to pick-up a top end player from the domino effect that will cause. But don't expect anything major anytime soon.
Thanks THE POM, have we signed that Cronulla sharks U20s fullback Australian representative player
Dylan Smith ? Yes we have, our 4 development are:

Thomas Mikhaele
Sam McIntyre
Heath Gibbs
Dylan Smit
Nice thanks POM

I'm not sure Sharks' supporters could handle the defection of another star junior. Well done WTs.

If RTS was to leave Souths should have a red, hot go at him. IMO they need a fullback because GI and Gagai should be their centes. Johnston is a much better winger and Cody Walker is good in the halves.

1. RTS
2. Johnston
3. Gagai
4. GI
5. B Morris?
6. Walker
7. Reynolds

I don't think we should go for RTS because we already have Tui. I would much rather a quality back-rower or sign 2 cheap players and front-load contracts to set ourselves up for 2019 when some big names come off-contract

I’m sorry to hurt your feelings but the earlier email coach outcome assessments is bit rich.
No brain injury on this end mate just my remarks pointing to wrong direction.

No hurt feelings, but cannot make head nor tails of the rest of the sentence, so what are you on
“Clearly had more than half the cap to get who he wanted for his first full season and has had the majority of a season to start molding the players that are already here. If they don't perform, then other than himself there are very few places or people to point blame at about?”

Above statement Is what I have issue with. Next season is a breakout year for this team and the coach and I can’t see that we need to set our expectations too high .... or again go on a warpath about the coach if things don’t exactly work out with new combinations. He has a 3 year contract and must be given time. Otherwise the club and the board will be in open to “basket case” type bashing by the media again.
Yet my "statement" says nothing in relation to what you are complaining about, including expectations and I have never gone on a warpath about a coach, let alone "again". It was written in context of other posts and below yet another post from a serial JT basher to compare the advantages available to his replacement.
You sir must have totally misinterpreted my post as I pretty well agree with most of your latest

Can I ask why 4, I thought clubs can sign 6 outside the main cap?

Go get him, Ivan
If he did head back to OZ you would imagine the Sharks would be in the hunt
The sharks, they have Holmes and Dugan, how many more fullbacks do they want
Dugan was signedto replace Bird and Flanno thinks Holmes is not a NRL no1 quite yet

Well it might not be a rumour but given we are one of the few clubs with cash Im going to make it a signing suggestion. Sign Cronk for HB - Now I'm Brooks fan but imagine what he could learn for 2 yrs playing wth Cronk and training with Cronk

Pearce being linked to the Broncos should Cronk go to the Roosters. That's going to really upset all the Brooks supporters.

Cronk confirms that he wishes to play on for another 2 years with a Sydney based Club.

The Rorters are firming as his preferred option.......

Looks like Pearce is out the door......

He won't come here. He wants another premiership and no one pays in brown bags like the roosters. They are now reporting jakefriend has been told to look elsewhere with Pearce or friend to play hooker.

The only player I can think of who might be a chance to start for the roosters would be Nofoaluma. We are weaker across the park and substantially weaker through the spine. That's where years and years of poor management gets you....a whopping great hole that is bloody hard to climb out of.

Ideal outcome for us (optimistically, if we were to sign whoever leaves) is they let Friend go.
1. Lolohea
6. Reynolds
7. Brooks
9. Friend

not bad.
