Brooksie today

Post by pHyR3 » Mon 21 Apr, 2014 10:52 am

Got a good feeling that without farah calling the shots, Brooks will have an absolute blinder today as long as our pack makes good meters (very likely).

He and anasta have to stand up today, with Luani and Rowe providing some extra options rather than leading the team around like teddy/farah do if we want to belt the eels back to the bottom of the ladder :sign:

Hope he runs the ball at speed early on today

Put Parra on the back foot and then we might create room outside

We'll see what happens. Shouldn't all fall on him though, Anasta has to pick up the slack too.

Luani gives great ball off the deck, and I reckon this will be perfect to bring Luke into the game early and taking on the line...

MOM could be on the table today for young Luke... FIRE UP KID!!!

I'll be happy if we're competitive today. Just have a feeling about the Eels at the moment. Hope I'm wrong.

Him, Luani and Gavet I have a feeling about for good games today!

As happy said, be good to see him take on the line early on. Show Sandow how to chip and chase properly.

Same here. I'd love to see Brooks and the forwards play great footy and whatever the result is I'll be cool with it.

That field goal in front of 50 000 people took great composure. Can't believe the things he does for a young bloke with a handful on nrl games.

His playmaking leaves a lot to be desired IMO. But he will learn from it. He is so much more mature than anyone else his age. So cool headed and so bloody good when it comes to quick thinking. Well done.

Runaway try, field goal and continued to defend reasonably well. He's a good one.

He does have a lot to improve on however he was really good and is definitely better than Anasta.

Bit tough on Brooksie.

Go watch Mitchell Pearce play. Has done absolutely nothing all year.

I think we are just too used to a piece of Benji magic we have forgotten that most HBs dont make a miracle play each game.

loved his bombs, especially in the 2nd half.

he's still getting used to everyone targetting him at a million miles an hour. many players face this when playing origin (like woodsy) and same thing happens in FG if you have a target on your head.

great game from him, some stuff to work on but he's definitely a keeper
