Don't know too much about Lovett. How does he go I have seen he plays in the forwards but is playing in the backs so he must have some pace ?

Muff you wouldnt call him fast. Backrower in the Mark O'Neill mould. I assume Taylor thinks he can strengthen our defence. question will be whether he gets found short laterally.

Like most, I am disappointed by the very first injury and replacement of the season.

You don't wait until Friday night to replace a centre, especially when travelling interstate. Our new staff should have made an early decision.

I'm obviously still hoping we will win but I will now be watching how a slow forward will handle some of the quickest men in the comp.

I Personally think he had a solid debut, great effort.

He was great proved once and for all we do not need Lawrence as a starting centre!

Very solid debut but that is the type of player he is. Showed the coaching staff he can play a utility role now.

Great depth player and an outside chance to crack a back row spot if keeps going.

Very good game from Lovett. He showed no nerves and ripped in from the start. I dont know that he is better than Lawrence but it is handy to know that he is he waiting in the wings.

I agree, he did what was required of him, and should be proud of his contribution. :)

I was really nervous with him playing in the centres but he did well. Lawrence is a better option there though.

I thought so too, didn't do much wrong... it's not easy to switch defensively from backrow to centre, I've watched Halatau and Bodene totally botch it up in recent years.

He's not got much in attack though, I'd consider Lovett a stop-gap at best.

However he performed better than I expected to be honest, so good on him for that.

Anyone would be better then Lawrence dropping the ball and making bad reads.

He did well.

hes playing out of position ON DEBUT, how can you critique his attack? he was probably trying his absolute best to make good reads in defence and if that means a low workrate while he's in the centres thats fine by me.

His D was very good, solid in attack, he run 110 m, if these are Lawrence stats we would be euphoric :)

He did a great job. Should be proud of it.

Pressure is on Lawrence with Lovett and naquaima performing well.

Was a left field selection but he held his own very well. Was impressed with his efforts.
