Tedesco and high balls

Post by VanillaThunder » Mon 20 Apr, 2015 12:33 am

While we're on the topic of high balls, how good was Ava's take off the kick off?! Wouldn't look out of place in the slip cordon.

Nothing to worry about.
Not since his eye surgery he hasn't

Teddy got himself in some awkward positions trying to defuse the high ball and his hand positioning was effected by that

Personally I always found having relaxed hands and relaxed as possible body positioning was key

was it a one off bad day or has that always been his weakness?

he's very good chasing high kicks but struggles defending them.

wish lawrence would disappear when it comes to catching high balls- he's so hopeless: Trex style
I don't think you have a true appreciation of how strong and difficult that wind was yesterday.

the winds were strong, im talking more about his way of approaching high balls- he always seems to be more comfortable with his back to the ball rather than charging on to them.

wighton and naiqama dealth with the high balls pretty well.

i've seen him struggle all throughout this year and yesterday was more exaggerated coz he dropped 3.

So harsh on a day like that. If he was taking those high balls he'd be getting universal praise, so I'll let yesterday slide to be honest.
