Can someone please explain to me why this guy seems to make the team every week?

He offers absolutely nothing in attack. Only takes 5m hit-ups and never even looks to promote the ball.
My honest opinion is that he is a poor man's Heighington - and that's saying something. Whenever he gets the ball you just know he going to kill the attacking momentum. He is prone to error and gives away needless penalties. Where is the plus side?

Note: This has nothing to do with the recent loss. I have been wondering this for a while. Regardless of whether we won or lost I would have posted this topic.

in saying that, he played bad today.

Didn't even see the Brooks play turned it off in disgust after accidentally hearing the score, Tigers you can have my jersey, disgusted to be a Tigers fan after blowing a 22 nil lead at home Leichhardt. Not even going to bother to watch next weeks game against Bulldogs as they will tear them a new one

Lol, 9s....
Surely you're joking?

It's almost an entirely different sport. I'd have Santi there ahead of Buchanan.

As with a few others not NRL standard and hopefully soon this will be rectified.

Lodge needs to be fast tracked straight back in. Buchanan tries but is a reggies, player, just like lawrence, sironen, brooks ( can't tackle at all) and moses. Moltzen hasn't done a lot since his return but at least won't kick away every ball he gets. The kids experiment is over. Either Brooks, Moses or both need to develop in nsw cup. NRL is not a nursery. The time is now or my prediction in October last year of a 13th place finish is looking on the money. This isn't being negative. It is first grade football and we have some players that are not at that level. As the meercat would say- "simple" .

It's time for Buchanan to make way for Lodge
Year of last finals appearance:
2018 - Storm, Roosters, Rabbitohs, Sharks, Panthers, Broncos, Dragons, Warriors
2017 - Eels, Sea Eagles, Cowboys
2016 - Raiders, Bulldogs, Titans
2013 - Knights
2011 - Tigers

He just lacks ability. he is out there doing his best. The fact he is in our top 17 shows he do not have the depth to be a goos side in the NRL yet.

He is strong on the ground in tackles. You watch him and how many times he dominates his player on the ground - great wrestling technique.

I agree with the attacking gap and five metre runs. Ran half marathons for too long and has developed disproportionately slow twitch muscle conditioning.

Lodge played yesterday in NSW Cup.......and scored a pretty strong try by running hard and fast.

I would bring him in straight away. Buchannan offers little and why keep rewarding ordinary players.
