Coaches words

Post by grahamr » Fri 24 Apr, 2015 7:58 pm

Well, just listened to an interview with Jason Taylor,
Is he really on this planet or does he have another 1st grade team hidden away from the fans somewhere!

With statements like, we are on the improve and I am happy with the progress of the team.

Come on JT, wake up out of that fantasy land your in and really take a hard long look!!

Cause if your happy you must have your goals set to avoid the wooden spoon and that's about all the heights your going to reach if you go along with what we have been dished up!

Well if you have a closer look in hindsight after tonight's game (which in fairness I'm doing)... u might adjust your thinking a little.

Yes we only have ourselves to blame for our losses but we could so easily be 7 from 8 this year. We blew the canberra game, blew the first dogs game and should have beat the Warriors.

We have a lot to improve on, last week proves that, but tonight shows we can make those improvements

We've come in leaps and bounds from last year?
JT is spot on.

Great coach. If we played to his plans against the Dogs and the Raiders we are 7/8.

Should keep the coach killers at bay for a couple of weeks. Buys Brooks and Moses a couple of weeks of respite.

grahamr, get a life apart from the miserable one you have now...your negativity certainly shows you aren't a true supporter of the new era the WTs are in at the moment...you obviously expect wins and premierships yesterday..it ain't gonna happen overnight, tonight proves that we have a young team ready to produce excellent football under the guidance of a talented coach,he like the young players need a little more time to complete the structures in place....we will be a force to reckon with in the not to distant future, come along and enjoy the ride or go elsewhere ........
You may see me struggle...but you will never see me quit... :D

Good grief... Some people will never be satisfied no matter who was coach... I've found Taylor most impressive in nearly all aspects of his coaching including off the field. He's pretty direct and doesn't speak in riddles and cliches at least.

Seriously - if we kick a field goal against the Dogs the first time we r second and hold onto Raiders game outright first, JT is doing an amazing job with the younget team in the comp

I had to triple check the date that OP posted this as I thought it must have been some mistake. Now I realise that this is probably one of the stupidest threads this year.

How on earth can you not say we are improving? It hasn't been a straight line from bottom to top, more of a zig zag up and down but overall we are definitely a better side.

We have had two embarrassing games this year. Both were because we SHOULD have won. A lot better than being flogged like we used to last year.

Tonight we showed that our attack his first class, just need to make sure we continue to close out games and we will cement ourselves in top 8.

Piss off Graham you miserable coot...

We had a win, and a comprehensive one at that. We've been waiting for the 80 minute performance and we've got it.

Neck up you parrot.

Better a fresh young colt than the old grey mare. We have plenty of improvement left which is very pleasing.
