Keith Galloway to play 200th game

Wests Tigers forward Keith Galloway will play his 200th NRL game on Friday night when his side take on the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in their Round 15 clash.

As a 17-year-old, Galloway made his NRL first-grade debut for the Cronulla Sharks in 2003, going on to play 37 games for the Sharks over three seasons.

He then joined Wests Tigers at the start of the 2006 season, enjoying a solid start at the Club, before earning his first Representative jumper for City Origin in 2009. A purple patch of form saw the Yarrawarrah Tigers junior make his New South Wales Origin debut in 2011, before being selected in the Australian squad for the Four Nations later that year.

Injuries interrupted Galloway's 2012 and 2013 campaigns, but the prop returned with a strong 2014 season — playing 19 games out of 24 — and has continued that form into 2015, where he has built a very strong front row combination with Aaron Woods.

Scoring a try earlier in the year against the Canberra Raiders, Galloway has averaged 10.5 hit-ups, 120 metres and 22.9 games so far in season 2015, and the Club is proud to congratulate him on reaching this special milestone on Friday night agianst the Sea Eagles.

See what Galloway had to say about playing his 200th game this week in the video above.

Shows how much injury troubles he's had to debut in 03, to only play his 200th now. He's much maligned is Keithy, but arguably a club legend.

I like Keith - not a match winner by any means, but an honest, solid prop. Never has a bad game - just consistent, no nonsense up the middle style of play. Old fashioned. Some might call him a plodder, but I reckon he's a bit more than that.

Congrats to Keithy, he'll be primed for a big one on Friday night and we'll need him to lead the way.

I expected the article to start like this:
Wests Tigers forward Keith Galloway will play his 200th NRL game on Friday night when his side take on the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in their Round 15 clash.

As a 17-year-old, Galloway made his NRL first-grade debut for the Cronulla Sharks in 1983, going on to play 37 games for the Sharks over eleven seasons.

He then joined Wests Tigers in 1994, playing 162 games for them in twenty one seasons leading to his 200th this week...
i kid... good on ya big keefy. :)

We would have been lost without him. Always draws in a lot of defenders to bring him down and stops the opposition forwards going through our middle. One area the Tigers weren't strong in for many years. We are finally getting better in this area but for years KG was the man.

Does the hard stuff that often doesn't get acknowledged - except by his team mates.
Good on you Keith.

Still our best defensive middle man and getting the metres again now that his foot/toe problems are behind him. What a great plodder, he has been the cornerstone of our pack for almost a decade.
