People - it is great to vent on here but it wont do anything.

You need to get on to the NRL. They need to be bombarded with complaints.

You can contact them via nrl.com. I have today. Received two replies already. Just the standard response:

In regards to the incident with the Wests Tigers, the rules are clear around post-career roles. This type of agreement could be used by a club to keep a player at a reduced salary and a way around the cap. The payment should have been disclosed by the club and included in their salary cap.

It is important to stress these are preliminary findings and the club and Mr Pascoe have been given a reasonable time to respond to the proposed penalties.

Thanks again for taking the time to write to us.

They need lots of complaints so they cant ignore the masses.
As above, and let's hit the NRL where they fear the most. Their pockets. Sponsorship and TV rights is their number one concern - if there is a way we could impact upon that, then the NRL would take notice.
The hip pocket is the only thing the NRL is interested in. The more supporters stop going to games the more the NRL will take notice.
Would love to see a march on NRL HQ demanding Greenberg resign. There would be heaps of supporters of most NRL clubs willing to support such a demonstration I am sure, getting all of them off their backsides and attending the march would be the hard part.
Greenberg has been slowly killing our game for years now, something drastic needs to be done to unseat the maggot ASAP.
The NRL don't care about crowds at games, it is all about TV ratings & the next broadcast contract. Turn it off. A 2% ratings drop does more damage than a 3,000 drop in average attendances.

Question, how long is the deregistration for?
Thats a good question dave and I dont think ive seen it mentioned in any of the articles Ive read on it.
Makes you wonder how difficult will the NRL make re-registering for him again if he gets to that point wether its with us or some other club?
Nine months

Nine months, is that a guess or did you hear it somewhere? And how about Flanagan? Same? Longer?

I think a GoFundMe to help pay for legal costs would do well. Im sure that any NRL fan regardless of whether they are Tiger fans or not who are fed up with teams who seemingly rort the system and get away with it would chuck a few bucks in. Im sure a decent amount of dollars would be raised.

I have emailed the CEO email and whilst I know he can't read it for the moment, I expect someone will be and the well wishes will be passed on in one way or another.

And if history is an indicator, upon his return I will get a short thank you from him. He will have many to respond to, but that's how he rolls.

Justin can run the club from his house during the ban....invite Madge and anyone else over for a BBQ/Dinner and discuss situations and issue instructions....No need to have emails, phone calls or anything else that can be traced...like dumbo Flanagan......just be smart about it how he goes about it.

Honestly this is all so bizarre...….Pascoe is accused of something, and he is just fired by a separate entity that does not allow for any right of reply?

What does he do get carrier pigeons? Morse code device? Send a message like they do for the Batman and sneak around in a snazzy lycra outfit so he cant be recognised?

If it wasn't happening to us it would be hilarious.

And then a DT photographer takes a photo with Justin Pascoe , Kegs , Marina Go and Madge all leaving Chris Lawrence's house for example

Lets fight these p ricks and win ......and then force a no confidence vote at the next CEO's meeting with the NRL ;)

No wonder they are drunk on power. They can dictate whatever they like, whenever they like, to suit whatever purpose, with no recourse.

Pascoe is employed by the WTs not the NRL. The fine is directed at the club how are they supposed to defend the accusation, if the man who supposedly has all the information is banned from talking to anyone at the club. The whole scenario is ridiculous.

Not sure that it is fair that Wests and Pascoe cannot meet to co-ordinate their defence.
