Yeah you are right again , even the guy whose job it was said the balls were below the league minimum

Good choice with Pats as well :roll
THE PSI of a ball fluctuates with temp changes. It was a storm in a teacup.
Here come the Pats....
Yes because their is so much PSI in a football to start with ...... :crazy

Pats will fall short
Find it odd that the NFL don't police that. It's very much a possibility Happy, Nitrogen reacts well to the ambient temperature, dependent on starting temperature and what you're initial inflation pressure is.

Depends where they inflate the ball as well. If they inflated the ball in a 20°C room at 13.5psi and ran it out on the pitch where the ambient temp is 10°C, they could expect up to 1psi drop in pressure.
I forgot to reply to this yesterday

Nitrogen in footballs .......

You spending the weekend with Byron CB ??

Well at the moment Methane from all the talk from this thread :brick:

At the start of this thread I said the equipment manager himself from the Pats had already admitted the balls were filled to under the league minimum

What more do you want ??

I've already said, I think the NFL should supply the balls and then the issue is avoided altogether.

I would imagine now that they would do this or have someone measure the PSI of the balls before , during and after the games

I still think the teams should have the right to choose what pressure the balls are at during the game

Same way NRL clubs can choose the size of the in goal or how much beach sand they want when they play a real quick side
