The key to beating these blokes is sucking Cordner in. If we can dominate their forward pack in the opening 15min, Boyd has a tendency to do too much dirty work and be sucked into playing tight.

All of our opponents lineups will have more star power than us this year. Stars don't always play well or have theirs heads screwed on though.

We know that ourselves from last year.

You blokes are delusional. If Keary is back in as late inclusion that Roosters team is close to the best line up in the NRL. Maybe just behind the Cowboys.

Can't argue except 2018 is more about team performance and less about individual players. We've had far better "named" sides go up against the Roosters and get smashed, and the Roosters line up looks great.

But Roosters often look great then fall short at the end, so hoping we can at least start with a goos performance against what looks one of the best sides.

Some of you blokes reckon the Roorters are beatable with this ordinary side......stop kidding yourselves, its a pretty good lineup.....

All we have to do is be better than them and beat them.....our record sure doesn't look real good against them...

Maybe Ivan has a great plan to win this game....hope our team is up to it....

Nah...Doggies and just bringing a bit of reality which this forum badly needs.

That Roosters line up is seriously strong!
I've watched Corey get dominated in the air in many games and with Cronk and their tall wingers the Roosters will be lethal under the high ball.

Of course they are beatable.
I'm just saying they have an awesome line up.
Also with Cronk & Keary I think the best short kicking game in the NRL.

I visited the ‘chookpen’ today - cannot believe the arrogance. What a bunch of drips. Two things - I hope when we are winning we don’t act like these stuck up cocks; and jeez I hope we win!!!!!

It's hard to s**t on your team with so many new players to many unknowns.
I was just pointing out seriously strong that Roosters team is!!

Hmmm....lets see. I'm quietly confident we will improve on the 10 wins from last season.
But we do have a tough start to the season.
