Class is class

Post by Eddie » Sun 15 Jul, 2018 6:09 pm

Even at 34 Robbie is still a class player. So good to see him not with the handbrake on taking opportunities when they bob up. Despite the commentators talking garbage about overplaying his hand - he set up all 3 Tries against a good defence .Not many hookers can go 80 minutes especially given hi lack of football. Has to be under serious consideration to play in 2019 if he and the club wants.

Apart from his scoot from dummy half to try and score i thought he had a very good game

Agree, he is still the best hooker we have, with a body that can take it

See how he pulls up after our season is finished but I'd be tempted to offer him one last year

He was good my MOTM but still had some selfish plays at crucial times...
Wests Tigers don't need a Coach.. The playing group has taken over..

Don't say things like that. You'll be branded a team death rider.

He's such a competitor he could be looking forward to play State of Origin 2019.

I think we are a better team with him in it than we were with our other hooking options

A much better team

He was great today

PLUS

He absolutely loves the club so even though he does things some people don't like at least he does it for the right reasons

After the garbage we have running out of dummy half in most of 2018 and 2017I’m so pleased Cleary just used his common sense - which really should not be a surprise given his stature in the game.

So much better with him than without him. All that crap about him stifling the attack that so many bought into with JT still makes me shaxke my head. We paid for that dearly in more ways than one.

Farah always gets the forwards running onto flat passes. It makes such a difference to our attack.

Bit early to be making calls of the Mesiah, and I don't think anyone doubts his talent regardless of which side of the fence you sit.

Personally, I hope he can offer expertise and tips to Jacob Middle for his career with us. Whether or not that extends into next year doesn't matter.

I JUST can't see it ending well when 10 games into next year he is justifiably dropped for the young up and comer to take over. He deserves a better finish, and we deserve a better outcome.
