I actually don't mind Ayshford as a centre. I know he has been guilty of some bad miss tackles over the past few weeks but generally his defense is pretty decent. This is also only his 2nd year in first grade and let's not forget how ordinary Lawrence was with his defense in his first year or 2. IMO his defense was worse then Ayshford's is now. Now Lawrence is one of the best defensive centres in the game.

As long as Ayshford keeps working hard and reduces those miss tackles then I think keep him there.

The biggest problem in the side is the side that Marshall defends on.

He makes terrible decisions or very late decisions and gives his inside and outside men virtually no chance.

Ellis is the missing cog on the right side though. The stability and balance he provides should see Ayshford perform much better this week I feel

Put Marshall back next to Lawrence...where he belongs...

It was working...I's not rocket science....

Ellis back changes things for the better..

Lui & Ayshford had a good combination just like Moltzen & Ayshford. I do not know why it was ever changed

I'm hoping to see our team settle at the moment. I don't think we have the same right side combination in defence for like 10 weeks.

In all fairness, defending next to the same player week in, week out is important and allows players to compensate for each other. Get Ellis back there and we might see a major improvement from Blake...

Good to start tonight!!!

Ayshford has a good future, but he does need to work on some things. Id be giving Akeripa a go next week.
