WT Announce 2019 Jersey Flegg Squad

Post by Balmain Boy » Tue 20 Nov, 2018 6:41 pm

Good to see Lambkin come onboard! With the development players and some of last seasons better players this squad should be very competitive next season.
Wests Tigers have today confirmed the club's Jersey Flegg squad for the 2019 season, led by new Head Coach Wayne Lambkin.

A former Western Suburbs Magpies player, Lambkin joins the club from the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles, where he won the Jersey Flegg title last year. 2018 Coach Craig Wilson will remain with the squad in 2019 in an Assistant Coaching role.

Wests Tigers four Development players in 2019 — Alex Seyfarth, Jock Madden, Tommy Talau and Kane Bradley — headline a strong squad this season, which also includes 2020 Development Player and Australian Schoolboy Zac Cini, who joins the club from the Penrith Panthers.

Henry Lealuga-Puhotau is another name to watch in the coming season, with the young forward rewarded for his efforts in 2018 with the chance to train with the 2019 NRL squad until the Christmas break.

NRL squad member Dylan Smith also remains eligible for Jersey Flegg in 2019.
