Not going for the easy 2 points will cost us

Post by Aladinsane » Sat 19 Mar, 2011 8:52 pm

Why , please tell me why , if the game plan is for a more consequence one , the team didn't take the easty 2 points when it was on for offer in the first half
Half time score should have been
Tigers 8-6 , but it might well cost us on this slow low scoring track.
Bennett must ve laughing his head off
Thoughts?

And then Venji is consistent with his kicking percentage , and it just adds fuel to my friggin' argument

Benji is not in the right head space at the moment to be the no. 1 goal kicker (not that I believed he ever was), is there not someone else in that team who can kicks goals... please...

I'm pretty sure Lawrence is second string kicker.

With Benji's kicking, there are no "easy 2 points".

did you watch the broncos in the 90s? they always took the quick tap even if it was 10 all with 5 mins to go. we dont want to turn into a dragons team who just kicks penalty goals and Fgs when we get a 6 point lead we are not that type of team

I thought kick it to the sideline and put some pressure on. We aren't a get to the lead and grind side.

They gave Lawrence a go last year and he was just as bad if not worse than Marshall. The one he missed close to the post was bad. Apart from that he was 2/3 with the miss hitting the post.

Lote was a terrible kicker. He kicked 0/4 in one SOO I think... I'd have to do the stats but I'd almost guess Lote's NRL kicking % is worse than Benji's.
