Lui

Post by dermo » Sat 09 Jul, 2011 1:04 am

To be honest i thought he probably had his best game in a while tonight. He might have bombed a few trys but atleast tonight he was breaking the line and getting into that position because in the last few weeks hes had nothing. Wasnt to bad in defence either.

He was better than Marshall, that's for sure. Lui had a go tonight, his defense remains terrible but he was trying and he did a few good things.

Gee he blew that try though...

Hybrid I'm not so sure. It looked like Atkins had Ryan covered on the outside so lui waited for some support on the inside which just never arrived. Was good to see that the next time he broke through he just backed himself and went over.
Last night in defence it looked like lui was putting his body on the line and trying to hit them and slow them down enough for Ellis to finish them off. Was alot better than the arm grabbing of the past few weeks.

I agree though it was his best game in quite a while perhaps since the start of the year. In attack he ran at the line looked fitter as well. In defence he really seemed to be trying hard and even those he missed he seemed to really slow them down so that they didn't get away from the tigers. He scored a good try and almost got another one - I don't think he bombed it I think he just needed support.

Really good signs for Rob for the rest of the year - actually and I know its nots the popular thing to say but I saw signs last night of why we can still be a force this year it didn't come off but next week it will and we will be back with a bang

He did look a lot better didn't he. He has a ton of talent. I'd love to see him become a consistent performer.

It was his best game in quite some time, just a shame the overall execution from the team was so lacklustre.

You guys are insane - just because he made a few runs through pathetic tackles you forget his last 10 shockers.
Remember it was Parra we were playing - watch the replays and you'll see the reason he made the yards is because some of their players are almost as bad defenders as him.
He is hopeless.

He was better last night in attack but still exhibited some absolutely woeful defence. He has a lot of work to do before he is up to standard in that department.

That should be a minimum what he did last night. Because he has played so garbage all year any half decent game is gonna seem like a pearler. His Defence isn't first grade standard it's not even close but what is most concerning there isn't one sign it's improving or being addressed at training

he ran the ball well last night, his best game in some time, but his organisation was still poor, and his defence horrendus.

he is not doing his main role, which is to run the team. Id rather sacrafice the couple of breaks if we could be well organised and took decent 5th tackle options

The one dissapointing thing was his kicking game, in his best game of the season when we put 50 on canberra he made dugan look silly with some of his kicks. I can hadly remember him putting in a kick last night.

He is the one who should be leaving not Moltzen. I rated Lui especially after the game he played against the dragons in last years semi. He should have kicked on after that game. He has had half a season at halfback and has not showed anything near that kind of form. Lets play Moltzen at half for the rest of the season and see how we go. Please sign with the broncos Rob.

No no nonono.....with all the others who are leaving, we MUST NOT lose Benji.

Sure he had a bad game but he is INJURED!!!

Lose Benji = wooden spoon for next 3 years.
