Taylor had no back up players like Ivan now has at his disposal, in Taylors time you were picked each week with a mediocre performance. Nofa was in that culture and has now found very early on that its consistent performance that holds your place in the team and i think that they are all buying in on that premise
He had Matt Ballin. Over and out from me, let sleeping dogs lie.
Malcolm Knox: What has happened this week is a pity for the Tigers, a pity for Jason Taylor and a pity for Robbie Farah, who had achieved more than the Big Four put together but was somehow turned into collateral damage. (SMH 25-26 March, 2017)

I get some people didn't like the guy but some of the stuff being written about Farah is just hysterical. His biggest "fault" seems to be he gave a crap and had to be dynamited out of a club that others were only too happy to leave. It's a bit much blaming him for the post-2011 malaise and ignoring the role he played in 2005 & 2010. Maybe he was representative of player power gone wrong but to me that was more to do with weak, unfocused and divided boards. Others who were just as if not more responsible for such things seem to get less criticism.

Local junior, premiership winner, rep player - the man isn't perfect but I'm prepared to overlook the few negatives given the service he's given the club.
Hard to argue Yoss, if JT hadn't come to the club it could have been handled properly and peoples opinions may be different.
Agreed 100% Not saying he was perfect. I am saying he gave a crap and bleed for the club. We should move on from Robbie bashing and remember that Gordon Idiot Tallis started this mess. Lets train our cross hairs on him.
Gordon Tallis' fault. 😂

Hope Farah is turned away at the gate if ever he tries to enter leichardt.

What a piece of work he was. He deserved to finish up on South's scrap heap.
Don’t think he’ll ever be turned away - local junior, Life Member and one of our greatest ever players.
Not sure of a lot of his haters claims to fame while entering ‘Leichhardt’.

His comments after he was dropped during his self serving press conference after his first reserve grade game made him persona non grata.

Was that the one he nailed about defence being the problem whilst Jason was moving him on because of perceived attack problems. Jason goes and the defence is fixed up but Farah can't be accused of being going missing in defence. He done the hierarchy a favour by telling how it was that they eventually they agreed upon a bit further down the track by changing the coach. He done the West Tigers a service - maybe because he cared about the team and club.

Come on BBF - if Gunner said Farah is ‘persona non grata’ he’ll have to personally apologise to him before he can climb the scoreboard again.

Listen mate, JT was lucky when Farah covered the scoreboard with his backside because the scoreboard was about 50 - nil against us. Where Farah's arse was tells it all - he was our best defender and he wasn't even on the field

This Robbie bashing is just bizarre and frankly out of order.

I can see Robbie in the role of ‘that guy who the media can always rely on getting a nonsensical Tigers related quote from’. The new Benny or Blocker.

I don't think so, he is more intense than both those guys and is usually accurate with his views. We need the occasional intense person to keep the standards up so they have to be respected.

When is he going to write his book? It will be longer than War And Peace with the axes he has to grind.

Taylor
Tallis
Sheens
Potter

Opposite viewpoint.

Taylor was so hamstrung by Farah that the season after he got the boot he lasted 3 games!

Maybe we should be saying Thank god Farah did pipe up and this clown coach is no longer around to run the joint into the ground.

Maybe Farah was partly right about the coaches we had all along given that Ivan is doing.

Benji was part of the boys club wasn't he? Part of the problem? Under different coaches?

Look how he is under Ivan - totally different.

Strong coaches are imperative.

Not saying Farah is faultless - his time here is done - but some of the stuff being written about him is laughable borderline plain sad.

How are these 3 coaches going in the NRL in 2018?

Oh thats right they will never get a 1st grade head coaching job again.

Im sure they will blame it all on Robbie as thats the easy thing to say.

Big Gordie is not the sharpest tool in the shed.
